wishes for happy recovery to Mr. Karnik
by anisu g on Jul 26, 2006 10:08 PM  Permalink

I am happy that Mr. Karnik will almost totally recover from the nightmare. Only i wish that many more blast victims had the same hope. I was also happy to read that he was well prepared to travel by the same compartment, that is mumbai spirit. His observation of excellent treatment from Government hospital, in particular sion hospital is totally correct. My personal experience of few decades before in sion hospital, when I went through a major operation after getting involved in road accident was great as I was totally fit in one year.
I will like to thank all the medical professional for the great work carried out by them during this crisis.

Mumbai tragedy
by E Ramaswamy on Jul 24, 2006 01:54 PM  Permalink

I can understand the kind of trauma that Sri Karnik has been through and I am happy that he is among the relatively lucky ones.

My deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and my sincerest prayers that they should find the strength and courage to get over the terrible tragedy.

At the same time I cant help feeling deeply hurt and ashamed that this tragedy has created less impact than the loss of some cricket match even among the educated public.

Also, while it may not be possible to prevent such things completely we wont have such frequent attacks if we had more conscientious politicians - the kind of strategies they plan to win elections - they dont apply their mind or time to such things!

Fully sharing the anguish of my people in Mumbai.

Ramaswamy

I clicked on the topic "Pakistan building massive nuclear plant" and I found the topic "'I'll take the same train". Plz correct the link.

This is poetic justice, Vikas.

"I will take the same train" Quote.

Same thing is vowed by the Israelis about the naapaak nuclear plant.

They - the Israelis - will take the same train.

The Kahoota train.
