What about 200 Mumbai MEN
by chowdesh on Jul 24, 2006 06:58 PM  Permalink

It is good to note that our soldiers and contry men could able to rescue a boy fromm a narrow wel.
But it is shame on media to make it a national issue by showing each every movements while they have done nothing in exposing the world, people behind mumbai blasts and other terrorist activities happening in our country.

Life is precious
by xyzace on Jul 24, 2006 06:47 PM  Permalink

This is one of the few incidents where all concerned have or at least appeared to have appreciated the value of life against several other instances where life of common people are taken for granted giving the impression that life is cheap in India except that of the VIPs, of course.

If we really start valuing life at all levels, lot of other things will fall into place.

RESCUE OF PRINCE
by P.Chaudhuri on Jul 24, 2006 06:09 PM  Permalink

The boy has shown exemplary resolution, unheard of at any age group. Govt should not only foot the medical bill, but should also see to it that such a courageous character does not go waste in due course of time.

How Prince was saved
by Dr R A Kharkar on Jul 24, 2006 06:08 PM  Permalink

The 5 year Prince was rescued by army jawans. We were delighted to see this news almost on all channels. Our hats are off to those who have paricipated in rescue effortes with relenless efforts. And a boy was saved. This rescue operation required lot persuvarance,co ordination, equipments, and time bounding pressures. All efforts should be made that such type of dangerous pits should be properly covered.
WE would also like to give credit to electronoic media who has given us minute to minute progress of rescue operations.Without media it would have become immpossible to get publicity and all national attention to rescue operation.Great done indeed.
