Blocking sites will not help
by siddharth on Aug 05, 2006 06:36 PM  Permalink

Why to block sites. People are not interested to waste time visiting such sites. Moreover who has the time. Every one is busy with something or the other which is definitely more important than these sites.
Why should our government give a chance to anybody to say that we are blocking their freedom of expression. India , is the best country in the world.
Only when you visit different countries , you will understand it. Why do people think , what the country is giving them instead of thinking what they are doing for the country. One must get oneself disciplined first. Think for the prosperity of our country. The Government should increase the salaries for the govt.staff to reduce corruption and other problems.

Our Government did good
by Nirmal on Jul 24, 2006 01:34 PM  Permalink

Since I live outside India, I had access to all those blogs and websites banned by our government. I happen to see some of those websites. Most of them that I have seen deal with religious extremism.
I found most of the ideas specified in those websites really unacceptable. One website has not even spared bollywood stars like Shahrukh Khan and mentioned that he is against hindus. These things are ridiculous.
We have lost over 200 of our people in the recent Mumbai bomb blasts. Our government doesn't want to see any chaos amongst our people after these blasts, just like that happened after 1993 series bombing in Mumbai. This is also the aim of those terrorists who planted those bombs, with social and economic reasons: creating an unrest in our country, hitting our booming economic capital. But, everything went in vain. Our people showed their unity after these blasts. They showed their oneness.
If you notice these changed amongst our people, you could see that what our government did is only for good, in order to avoid any unnecessary aftermath in our country.

Is BAN is right way to democracy
by Amit on Jul 24, 2006 12:09 PM  Permalink

Is banning of whole site is right way, isn't this govt. killing the principles of democracy such as freedom to speak.

Tomorrow govt. can say to ban net surfing. This is just a silly movement to hide govt. failure...

This govt is not doing well so that they r doing the things like reservation, ban, AIIMS propeganda and all...

Just think where we are going.

This Govt is going nowhere
by Nithin on Jul 24, 2006 11:05 AM  Permalink

Hi All ,
When Manmohan singh became PM of the country.
I was expecting India to do well.
Now I am really disappointed, He is just a puppet in the hands of the corrupt Congress man.

This is really bad show by our PM. Sending of the Office of Profit bill shows that they dont even respect the President's decision.

This govt just want to Safegaurd the party mens interest.

INDIA does not figure anywhere in these decision.

After this term in Office , May the Congress soul rest in peace.

Regards,
Nithin
