why we should be ashamed
by kundan on Jul 20, 2006 09:02 AM  Permalink
Well, the article just now published by sangh parivar is well balanced with facts being flowing out in the international arena. The guys who are saying it is fully biased, I totally disagree with them, they are getting too emotional and ignoring the facts. India has to realise, sooner than later, that is being used by americans to shield china.
Instead of urging the international community like a beggar we should hit hard at these terrorists, this is the only solution. Being dependent on US and other G8 nation, and to hope that they might come to rescue you, is total nonsense, and shows the kindda insecureness among ploticians, who are not even qualified, to lead india. This is biggest irony with indian politics, we've given the powers in the hand people who knows very well how to fill your packets.
And media too is very well responsible for this, as they are playing there role just like a normal indian, remember the issue for few days and than look out for some other spicy news. For example Lalu was used to illiterate, unqualified guy with lots scandals behind him, but the media is all praising him for his accheivements being a railway minister, but the fact is does he deserves?

Dear Sir,
Your article is very much true. It reflects very very cleary your agony. In fact it is the same with every true Indian. Why are we paying for the games of our politicians. why innocent children women and officer goers get the wrath of these terrorists. They cant do a damn to our politicians,Our Prime minister is also not different. He comes on the TV condemns and asks every political party to be calm. Is that enough . They praise Bombayites for their
absorption lelvels. We are helpless sir. This cross country terrorism is not going to end with our set of politicians who are alll the time worried about their seats and money.

Why we should be ashamed
by Geetha Deviprasad on Jul 19, 2006 01:46 PM  Permalink

As the author points out India lacks the willpower to tackle the menace of terrorism
India needs a man of iron like Sardar Patel to do this
Until the citizens of our country will suffer in the hands of these mindless terrorists

Biased Column
by Ravi on Jul 19, 2006 01:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When did rediff become a mouth-piece of RSS? Ram Madhav is a person who lacks credibility even in the Sangh Parivar. I always had a feeling that rediff is biased against muslims and christians. By providing column space to Ram Madhav, rediff has proved this to be true.

I m sure now that this Ravi is blody mouthpiece of CONGRESS - THE DESTROYERS of INDIA

Congress is hurting since 100 yrs and is still doing it. If it would have been a real country saver.... atleast they wud have done something by now rather than continuing their "Peace Talks" (read= bring more terror 2 India, we political leaders dont care because its general public who suffer.... we dont.... we always have security and best services at our footsteps).

KILL CONGRESS and SAVE INDIA

There is nothig to comment
by Arif Ansari on Jul 19, 2006 01:30 PM  Permalink

There is nothing to comment on this article...As usual they are telling the same thing....There is no solution given in this article where we can come forward and fight out together. Where we can build confidence in our countryman....Without building confidence in our own people we can't fight terrorism.

As usual in this incident only "general People" suffered. Have you heared that any politician suffered from this blast ? Even relatives of any politicians not suffered from this blast ? Why ? because general public travel from these mode. Nor the politician or relatives of politician. It is very easy to speech in "Z-Plus" security and widen the gap between community. Due to this act only general public suffer...I request you to please come forward and fight out together as we saw yesterday at 6:24 p.m. in Mumbai.

We can not fight terrorism without the help of our own people...and they will have to think that those who are living in India they are "Hindi" before their religion.

Please maintain harmony....please maintain peace.
Instead of maintaining harmony...they are trying to divide....Thanks to Mumbai Public they have maintained peace even in such tragic situation

Why should we be ashamed
by Amit SIngh on Jul 19, 2006 01:27 PM  Permalink

It is a sad commentary that the Mumbai bomb blasts is now being subjected to a political twist. Rather than getting into a blame game, it is the responsibility of the central as well as the state to bring the perpetrators of the blasts to justice at the earliest to instil confidence in the public. Just pointing fingers is not going to solve matters.
Whether it is the UPA or the NDA, now is the time to show that India stands united in its resolve to strike back at the terrorists. Politics can be played later.

UPA Govt
by NAGRAJ K V on Jul 19, 2006 01:19 PM  Permalink

The RSS spokesperson is upright in his comments.
The Congress has always perpetuated the separatist movement whether in Kashmir or Punjab and elsewhere.
The left has done the same in West Bengal where the Bangladeshi infiltrators are given IDs, to ensure a vote bank. Imagine when these two forces join to gether and form a govt. they have no will to solve the islamic terrorism. Left un ashamedly says it is supporting Congress to keep out 'communal forces'. Now who is communal?
These psedudo leaders will realise their follies only when their kith and kin is affected by the same terrorism they have supported.

Hi, Ram Madhab,

Ranting agst muslims & jehadi terrorism will not solve our problem. Rather let yr. so called desh bhakt organization help seek justice & eqality to all. Marginalising poor, minority, dalits will not work in long run. Innocent Muslims r worst sufferor so don't be surprised if u see another blast soon. Do not indulge in blame game.

Bombay Blast
by PRITY BHATTACHARYA on Jul 19, 2006 01:13 PM  Permalink

Not only the current government but any government that has come to the power in last 15 years or so, has done nothing but to weaken the country and only filling their own pockets. Why should I blame anyone, as we the people of India are to blame for this. We all think individually and only for ourselves. Have we ever thought that our strength, number wise is more than the political goons? But we fail to understand this and keep cribbing for everything. This situation will never change unless we want it to change and do something about it. And the first thing is to start thinking. Think that India is not A country, it's my country. Its the place where I belong to. Only if we could think this much, mission accomplished. Take any political party today, they just want to sling mud on the opposition. Possibilities are that they themselves might be involved in the incident. Eg. Narendra Modi, who is still the Gujrat Chief Minister, who's name was involved in the Gujrat mishap in 2002. Who has the adocity to throw him from the political scenario and he was condeming the Bombay blast as act against humanity? Shiv Sena, Bajrang dal, etc. Why do we bear such so called political leader?
