Jews and Arabs together peacefuly
by AJ on Sep 08, 2006 09:03 AM  Permalink

Recent events in the Middle East conflict have illustrated a fundamental difference between the two sides. It is just a matter of whether people are perceptive enough and honest enough to take notice.

Rami Hahamid, an Israeli-Arab, helped thwart the attempt of a suicide bomber. Although the bomber succeeded in killing himself and a policeman and injured Rami in the process, the death toll could have been much worse.

These events now have people declaring this is proof that Jews and Arabs can live together. However, the question has never been whether or not they can live together, but under what conditions and circumstances could it be possible.

India should wipe out whoever is trying to harm Mother India
by Hetal Patel on Jul 31, 2006 07:44 PM  Permalink

I've been following up News after 7/11 and for some reasons I feel that Indian Goverment is not doing anything to Protect its people and the country itself. I think its about time when all Indians not just from India but around the world should force government to take necessary steps to stop the terr. attacks again on Indian soil and wipe out all the terrorists from India just the way Israel did.(Wipe out Kashmir, Gujarat, Maharashta, Andhra where ever they exist.)And if necessary wipe out Pakistan like they did in 1965 wipe out bangladesh.

Playing into terror'hands
by Ravi Mendon on Jul 22, 2006 02:31 PM  Permalink

While common man in the mercy of terrorist, our so
called politicians are moving in high security bullet
proof cars fitted with zammers with money collected
from common man tax. It is high time that same type
of zammers are also installed in important places and
trains. And I am requesting our scientist brothers
to invent a unique radars from which they can detect
stored/moving explosives to help the laws take action
against these terrorists.

Playing into terror's hands.
by Shyam V.Bale. on Jul 22, 2006 12:21 PM  Permalink

First and foremost this nation must have one name, one
language for international identity. We have two names
for the nation and no National language to be nationa-
ly integrated. We are yet known as Indian or Bharatiya.
There is no national pride with the cityzen of the na-
tion because of these shortages. We are still divided
as Pujabi,Bengauli,Gujrati,Madrasi,Marathi etc even
ouside our nation. We should not mind learning and spe-
aking English and Hindi along with State language. But
as the name BHARAT represents language SANSKRIT,we got
to except it as National Language. We are proud of this
Language of Knowledge of our ancestors and also proud of Language of " GEETA ".So in the United Nations Ass-
mbly we sit under the nameplate BHARAT and speak as
BHARATIYA in our National Language. Are we ashamed of
our ancestry? We all believe in Art of Living and not
in the Art of Fighting. The factor of DHARMA of nation
can be left alone with " KAALA ".We have already carv-
ed two nations with Name,Language and Dharma from this
Great MAHABHARAT,and left only with " BHARAT ".So let
us be known internationally as BHRATIYAS.Let us rise
as Bharatiyas.

Terror in India?
by shree on Jul 21, 2006 08:40 AM  Permalink

The terrirists have struck again!what do we do?Options are : 1)blame Pak and talk tough 2)scold the politicians 3)hit at the cops 4)write in this column and fume for a few days and forget everything.

First option has no meaning. Its easier to write here,\"wage a war against Pakis\"!They are an aggressive nation, waiting for this opportunity.we dont have the might to figt with them eternally.both being nuclear powers, the consequence can be devastating on both sides, with no end result.

Second option : You scold the netas.who cares!the very fact they are there is due to they becoming insensitive to it all! After all who are they?one amongst us,elected & selected by all of Us!we better blame ourselves for it!but what are we going to do about it??

Third option: bash the cops?who will dare it?we are law abiding!and we better be!when we can\'t control ourselves from being corrupt and abet such social evils, how can we blame them?

Fourth option : very much within our means! Fret and fume,do nothing and forget it, till history repeats itself!

what is the solution? In my opinion, it needs fundamental, rudimentary yet radical changes in every one of us.Ask me & I will outline that!

DONT BLAME OTHERS!!
by amit on Jul 21, 2006 07:51 AM  Permalink

Well, i think its high time we stopped blaming others and go ahead with some action rather than just never ending talks, we always try to find someone to blame instead of that why not look for some inspiration, see what israel has done, its high time we start paying back, or else sit quitely and play the blaming game like cowards!!!!

Problem is within
by sunil on Jul 21, 2006 05:49 AM  Permalink

It is not 100% correct to blame Pak for terrorism. I reckon, problem is within, not only with political system but also with people in India. We first have to be indians, then hindu, muslim etc. When a muslim is killed, lots of voices are raised, Shabana, Mulayam and all jump to blame without identifying the criminals. If a hindu is killed, like in Kashmir, the same socialists keep mum, WHY ? Because we have over glorified this people. There are lots of them in India. Need of the hour is to forget whether we are hindus or muslims or telugus or gujaratis. Force the govt, state and central, to fight terrorism through military and special forces. As regards, human rights, they are for human beings, not for terrorists. Terrorists can never be classified as humans, if anybody does that is a terrorist himself or herself. Any amount of economic boom will be of no use, if we are soft on security. Time is running out, because next generation, i warn, will not buckle under Musharaff or Bush, they will play a decider, and will win.
