It is this country's destiny to be ruled by such traitors. It is not just this blocking of Blogs, everything they do is designed to strangulate free speech, innovation, enterprize, scientific rigour etc. These are the same guys who keep loading the rules books and laws with clauses and sub clauses till the whole system gets jammed. The IAS academy is Mussoorie still eulogises Marxism and socialism along with central planning and the state commanding the heights of the economy.
It is not surprising, Mr. Nehru's and his daughter's Party are back in power with the support of their faithful canines, the communists, and therefore we can expect more of the same in one form of the other.
This country ruled by the hated British at the time time of independence was more developed that any country in South East Asia, look what they did to it in just five decades. In any other country of Europe these people would be tried for treason, here we keep re-electing them to power every 5 years and there are people who commit self immolation in those rae cases when these people lose an occassional election.
Someone please take the govt. to court. How can they block entire domains. What next block all '.com' sites. This is the start of a dangerous trend by the Congress govt. They want to bring in an authoratarian regime here. Flashback to the emergency period. Buggers. WHERE IS MY FREEDOM ???

I maintain a blog as a means to express my thoughts and opinions about the things that happen in my life. ist just a personal place. i think the government is denying my right to freedom of speech and expression. I dont use it as means to defame anyone or protest against government decisions, so why block my blog. i think it is a ridiculous thing to do and it shows how short sighted the government officials are.
As a friend put it, dedicated effort by a handful of idiots can lead a million people to their doom. The entire purpose of the whole exercise is intangible. Really. Idiots.
It is really sad that the blog sites are being blocked. It was a great initiative to launch such a thing as Blogger, to let people express and share their views and ideas and get them published on blogspot.com. Targeting the lay man might not be the right solution. However, if this is going to help someway.. so be it. We would all want our freedom of speech and expression given back to us as soon as possible.
