Zero tolerance?
by Vaibhav on Jul 17, 2006 02:33 AM  Permalink

Mr. Prime minister,
What is the point of seeking zero tolerance from everyone else, when you are yourself not willing to practice what you preach?

How about you showing zero tolerance by targeting the terrorists wherever may be hiding?

Too radical for you? Heard of Isreal ever?

Vaibhav

PM pushses for Zero Tolerance
by Vijay K Bhatia on Jul 16, 2006 02:02 PM  Permalink

Yea Right !!!! Thats all we Indians can do... Condemn the attacks.. Beg other nations to condemn the attacks.. salute the spirit of angry, pained and frustated ( by the govt's inaction) people..

Our country is being run by a bunch of sick, old, diseased , half dead, rotten jokers...

If any of these guys are literate enought to read the newspaper, please read about the reply Israel has given for loss of its 2 soldiers..

We are sick of your condolence talks and Ms Gandhi and Mr Singh, please stay in Delhi when something like this happens next time. Our over burdened Mumbai police has got some "real" work to do.. unlike those lazy asses whom you call the delhi police.

Zero tolerance
by vinayak on Jul 16, 2006 01:05 PM  Permalink

The leaders at the G8 summit already follow zero tolerance in letter and spirit, Mr.Singh. What is India DOING about the terrorists who had a hand in the recent Mumbai blast? Is there an ACTION plan to kill them? Mere words are USELESS

World must isolate terrorists
by keshavachari on Jul 16, 2006 12:35 PM  Permalink

Our PM Dr.Manmohan Singh is a perfect gentleman and is definitely not a politician. He is too good a person. While we are facing terrorist attack for past 15 years, The Government is not able to find any solution. Agreed it is being sponsored from accross the border. Just asking the other World Nations to ignore and isolate the terrorist is not going to help. While meeting the G8 leaders, Dr.Manmohan singh needs to be bold and tell them that India has no other options but act the way US did it after 9/11 and we will be forced to follow the examples of Israel. This will convey the message to them that we are not going to keep quite any more.
Let Government of India warn pakistan that unless they take neccessary proactive steps to eliminiate the terrorists camps operating from Pakistan, India will have no option and will be forced to act on its own. Similar message must be conveyed to Bangladesh also.
There is no doubt that it is only during UPA Government that terrorists acts have increased.

right decision.
by ayesha on Jul 16, 2006 12:32 PM  Permalink

i think that the prime minister is absolutely right. we have to take a very strong firm against terrorism coz life is precious. we will forget about these blasts after some time but what about their families? they have to live with this loss the whole life. to ensure that such a thing never happens again, we have to fight terrorism not only with our fundaments but also with our strenght. we have to fight the same way the terrorists r fighting i.e with agressiveness and strength.

isolate terrorists in Indian politics
by Luke Rodrigues on Jul 16, 2006 11:49 AM  Permalink

The PM is right in asking the international community to isolate terrorists. That may acomplish something. What seems more difficult to accomplish is to get our Congress and Samajwadi leaders to take a firm stand against terrorism.
As long as these leaders continue to defend terror groups, we will always be vulnerable to attacks.
