We are expecting too much knowing fully well that this sort of hope is just futile. Pakistan is major ally of US in her war on terror and enjoying all the help from the US may be financially or war efforts. We have four three declared wars against our adversary and fourth one in J&K is going on for the last 20 years where we have lost almost 3 times of head count of our security forces than we lost in all three wars combined and as per Air Marshal Noor Khan (retd) of Pakistan, the situation is not going to improve till the time the Army is at the helm of affairs. What to talk of Indian expecting help to fight terror from Pakistan, US could not find Bin Laden when the later is enjoying the patronate and hospitality of mullahs.We have to find a resolve to our day to day terror attacks on our civilian population and security forces and the only option is to smash the paraphernelia working across the border. In fact, after 1971 war when we had 93,000 pow of Pakistan largest after the WW II, we should have bargained with POK in return, then this problem of present insurgency in J&K would have never occurred. USA can attack Iraq, Afghanistan to fight war on terron, we cannot we!
Are u not ashemed to give such statements of peace even after getting betrayed by Pakistan so many times. Leaders like you, are undermining the sovereignnity of the country by begging the mercy frm Pakistan, begging Pakistan not to direct attacks on India. Dont we have enough strength to fight it on our own.
