And another thing -- how come you never hear about Pakistani Hindus launching bomb attacks against Pakistani cities? Are you seriously going to pretend to me that Pakistani Hindus lead much more comfortable lives than Muslims in India?? Hindus in Pak wouldn't even dare do such a thing, because unlike Indian Muslims, the Pak Hindus know they would be exterminated if they ever set off bombs in Pakistan.
Nobody distrusts his own motherland.... if one does, he sure doesn't belong to that land. Remember, it's not what your country or countrymen give you but what you give to them. While I agree most people look at muslims with scrutiny, I also know that if a hindu sees a helpless child or injured person, he's not asking him if he's a muslim before helping him. If he does, then he doesn't deserve to be a Human Being leave aside Hindu! Yes, terrorim is a huge problem in north-east India and nobody counts them as Hindus- sad. But, only one message to my muslim bros and sisters. please, please count this country as yours. You were, you are and will always be a part of us. India needs you as much as she needs us (Hindus, Christian, Sikh, Parsis, Jains etc). Forgive those who differentiated, forget what happened and just stand up against terrorism. In every madarsa, mosque, condemn terrorism in the garb of jihad, join us in the fight against evil.

Hi Samir Kazi, Shiv sena is but just one of the few extremist hindu organization among countless muslim terror outfits. While I dont sympathize with the Shiv Sena, I find your claim of equating them to muslim terror outfits a tad too ludicruous. How many buses, trains or plains did the sena blow using bombs., how many innocent muslim lives did they take compared to muslim terrorists? Dont give the example of Gulf countries to be as tolerant as India, i have been there and i know they dont exactly allow all non muslim community to have as many religious places built as India allows. Infact, the most liberal of the arab countries - UAE, does not allow non muslims to drink or eat in public while muslims are fasting during the month of Ramadan. Muslims probably have more mosques in India than all the world put together.

Well said! The individual must think, feel that (s/)he is Indian first and then whatever religion they are born into. Nation is greater than religion, caste, class, etc.
Surely, if any person feels they do not belong to this place, then the best option is to decide to shift to a place one feels like calling his or her own. There is no point in fighting and creating disturbance for everyone. Life is short, live in peace and love and enjoy with your near and dear. Make good friends, do some good deeds, do not hurt others. Educate yourself, enjoy the job you do, & live honestly & try to grow beyond yourself, your community, etc.
Violence begets violence. Love & respect are also returned in equal measure too. So one has to choose, what they want and act accordingly.
Unfortunately, Muslims are so much ghettoized today, they cannot find a place to live in common areas. So is the case with many communities, so we all end up living in surroundings where we have people belonging to our own community. I believe, all Indians must consciously strive to change this pattern. The only expectation I have of neighbours is concern for common hygiene, peace and respect for others.

Sir, how abt Shiv Sena leader? Doesnt he call himself Hindu Hriday Samrat. Now tell me is that a terrorist organisation or not? If not then who gives them the power to destroy national and private property? Please answer my question. I would call them Hindu terrorists. They are also causing terror.So my friend dont call just Muslims terrorists. No religion advocates terror. So dont blame Islam. Islam is the most peace-loving religion in the whole world amd muslims are most non-biased. I dont speak without reason. Consider the gulf countries where thousands of Non-muslims work and live peacefully. Those countries are predominantly muslim yet they have allowed building of churches/temples/gurudwars etc. on their soil. Today in India, muslims are not allowed to build mosques. The facts are there to see, and it is not only today but even before these terrorists existed that was the case. Please justify
The comments by different muslim people in this article is interesting. Please consider this.
1. Maoists are not Hindu terrorists but communist terrorists. asyou know communists are #1 enemy of hindus, they are the ones who are behind all anti-hindu policies of various govts. in India in the past and present. They are teh ones who glorify Islam and put-down hindu culture in tex tbookes etc. Recently, to please Maoists, Nepal removed 'Hindu' from its constitution and in tat place inserted 'secular'. Expect more terrorists entering India from Nepal now onwards.
2. LTTE terrorists again are not hindu, but are fanatic (tamil) leftists. The supporters of LTTE in India are teh Tamil dravidian parties like DMK, PMK and MDMK which again are intrinsically anti-Hindu, anti-brahmin, anti-north, anti-samskrit etc..
3. In which country other than muslim countries, police won't suspect muslims when they are caught in wrong acts? Man, all over the world muslim fate is teh same. They should blame themselves for this state of affairs. Whether it is USA, UK, France, Spain, Bali, Israel, lebenon, Phillipines or Russia, Ukrain, India wherever you go, ask the police whome they suspect first?
Dont know why Syed Firdaus Ashraf's interviews should project dissumalation. Perhaps being a Syed of perceived Arab blood, he can not resist the fallaciousness of Islam.
He has asked why the naxalites and other groups are not called Hindu terrorists? The answer is simple...Those groups dont justify their violence on the basis of Hindu religion. Th naxals typically follow marxist and leniist ideologies.
Islamic terrorists justify their terror in the name of Islam, Quran and Sunnath. Jehad is an Islamic concept.
Hope Syed Firdaus appreciates and understands and avoids writing articles that shift the blame from Islam. Islam's hands are bloody.

Appalled. Shocked. Angry. As a Pakistani, I am outraged at these attacks, my brothers and sisters in India have my full support. If elements in Pakistan are behind it, I strongly call on the Government of Pakistan to seize and try these people on crimes against humanity. We the average Pakistanis wish Mumbai well and hope for a speedy recovery. India is a great example of a tolerant society, may she prosper.

In India,Muslims has 2 play 2 roles at a time,first we shuld knw Islamic principles & follow it.Worship 1 God & implment all his teachings in true-sense,like having forbearance, giving charity, as MUHAMMED(PBUH) said "Give charity, even a smile can be a charity",& then educate your muslim brothers & stop them from following distorted image of Islam, because what they are doing is completly wrong, un-islamic, not what Quran said. Stoping is your duty,as MUHAMMED (PBUH) said: If you see wrong things, stop it, if not, speak againt it, or least feel bad in your heart".Secondly, we have to be aware about our constitutional rights, India is one of the country were we are treated equally with majority,& infact we are given full rights to practice & preach our religion.And majority of our Indian brohters are very humble, kind and friendly towards us,but outtheir in minority are people who have malice against us of being muslim, hence we report stories from such people of being bias against Muslim,and think that all over India it is same.Infact it is not so.Equiped yourself with constitutional knowleged, and face this minority with head-high, dont take law in ur hand, fight legal battle.
