Execution of Terrorist Act is the only way out.What happened when we had those criminals (want to use a better word,but...rediff may cut it off!!)were kept in Jail? They hijacked a plane and got them out.Now,our politicians will take a list to SAARC,Un and all the forums and submit to Pak.They use it as toilet paper. Rather than dying daily.....we should go all out and cleanse this "community" called terrorists.
This should be read by those who are in power to implement and take action. It is a shame for the country of India's size and might to remain actionless against rat-like terrorists and their repeated attacks - here or there - time and again. Crush out each such evil-element mercilessly and show the world we are ahead in this game, like we are doing in many walks of life. One truly becomes revengeful if one personally suffers, but unfortunately those who suffer and those who are to correct the situation are different - here lies the problem. Sweet talk and soft walk solves no problem. It should be like 'Eeent ka jawab, patthar se - rather Lohe se'. At all times and places, innocent people should be protected at any cost and at all times and at all places, terrorists should be ripped apart at any cost. This is the primary responsibility of the State and its custodians. Routine talk and no action is no less than impotency.
Totally second every word of the article - only question remains - how to get translated into actual action what all like-minded Indians are demanding? Any ideas anyone...

Before comparing things with ISRAEL and middle east, check the history of middle east and existence of ISRAEL.
U scums will neve change and call the resistant movements like HAMAS nd Hezbollah as terrorist.

Grate article. We should start action right now. People of India want no more same dialogues from politicians. If they have spine, then take strong action against the terrorists and their mentor. We should kill wherever the terrorists are. India should take Israel as example. Terrorise the terrorists and let them feel if they kill one Indian we will kill hundreds of them.
Yet another heinous act of Terrorism; yet another barbaric act of violence. Yet another retreat to the cyclostyle treat of words form the Political establishment. Do we really know when would all this end? Some may say No, some Yes. Both the views are correct, if we can correlate them to different facets of our existence. For those who say No, probably say so out of frustration. Frustration from the way India has treated these acts of ruthlessness; frustration from cross wordings by the political honchos, rather than acting tough, and acting smart. Those who are more optimistic voice an opinion that was highlighted, not long ago, on Cinema. The medium - Rang De Basanti. Change is what is the need of the hour. We are peace loving people, no doubt. But enemies over the years have taken wrong meaning to this message. Perhaps its time now to show the World in general, and the Terror-mongers in particular, the might of our Defence forces. All those Arjuns, Sukhois, Migs, Vikrants are of no use if not used at the appropriate time. This is the time to strike at the enemy hard, and hit straight. Let us make no distinction between those who spread terror and those who harbour them.
Well said, sir! Entirely agree. Remember, this government is scared of acting against terrorists - because that would be contrued as anti-Muslim acts. We have seen umpteen cases of this - and I have no reason to believe that the Congress, CPM and the so-called secular parties will change so easily.
But the media can change - because media lives on public opinion - their biggest patrons. These terrorists have innumerable friends in the media who are quick to jump to their rescue - they are not terrorists, we are told, but victims of American imperialism. They are only retaliating against injustice. They even go to the extent of invoking religious sanction for fighting the infidels. We have apologists who are in senior positions - editors, managing editors, politburo members, lyricists, civil liberties activists - we know them we see them everyday on TV, we read their writings in leading newspapers everyday - these are the people who are misguided - they believe India should tolerate whatever a small minority of people perpetrate on its people - these are the people who say minorityism is ok, but majorityism is communal.
I say, death to these poisonous snakes in our midst!
The writer of the article deserves applause for having so candidly expressed the pent up fury and anguish of the millions of innocent citizens who are time and again victims of mindless acts of terrorist attacks.Every act of terrorism needs to be dealt with utter ruthlessness and in a manner that would be a strong deterrant for similar attacks in future.Just like a rabid dog,the only cure for a terrorist is extermination.Being soft on this issue is bound to result in more such tragic incidents.
Your write-up is excellent and makes a good reading. But the solution that you are suggesting that the Indian Govt take must be made when you were day-dreaming!!! INDIA HAS NEVER DONE ANYTHING TO STIFLE TERRORISM NOR IN THE FUTURE WILL THEY DO!!! THE INDIAN STATE IS A "DARBOK". Every terrorist knows that India is "softie".. people will lament, pick up their pieces and go about their life as does the Govt. Imagine if this happened in Israel (forget USA) Pakistan and other Gulf countries that harbor these terrorist would be a thing in the past!! Look at what is happening in Palestine & Lebannon where Israel is bombing the crap out of these people just beacause they kidnapped 1 soldier!!!! Can you imagine the Indian Govt doing anything like that... Look at the kidnappers of AI Plane that was hijacked to Afganistan, look at the terrorists who were involved in various bombings in Mumbai/Delhi.. where are they.. enjoying the hospitality of Pakistan/Dubai!! MEDIA PEOPLE SHOULD STOP SHOWING PICTURES OF DEAD PEOPLE.. It makes the terrorist PROUD of his work!!! When 9/11 happened, there was not one single TV channel that showed Dead people!!!
