Indias response should be...
by Sudhakar Malpe on Jul 13, 2006 05:35 PM  Permalink

Dear Editor,

First thing first. We need to set our own home in order. Tereroist find home's at our own neighours house to operate becuase they bribe the people and get going. How is the cellphone get into whether it is Tihar Jail or Sath-rasth Jail. We need to investigate our own system first.

Extreme corruption among railway officials and RPF is a well known issue. It is these official need to be hanged first. Yes we need to be ruthless with them first and immediate.

Thanks,

Sudhakar Malpe

Kudos to you my dear Shishir Bhate !

You have penned down what evey Indian is now thinking.

Hope these words get into the rusted minds of our rulers, who are as impotent as EUNUCHS in dealing with terrorism.

Politicians (and more importantly our beloved PM) making speeches on TV, giving assurances etc. will not be sufficient at all.

What we all need is action. Our rulers have to see what Israel is doing to Lebanese and Palestinian guerillas..blowing them up to pieces..

May God bless India !!

THis was an excellent article. this is not the time when we can forget what has happened and say the spirit of mumbai is highly appreciated. We should all get together and wipe out terrorism from its roots by atleast once we get them we should hang them and not go on interrogating for months and months and then one fine day we'll find him become a politician.

India needs t be ruthless in its vengeance

I am truly moved by the author's power of expression, the poiganancy of the words. Its an article that I can completely relate to coming from a similar background.

True the politicians will mouth appropriate platitudes and go back to stuffingtheir pockets, we as citizens will give vent to our cynicism and frustrations thru words and ultimately nothing will change.

I think as people we have to join forces and come up with stronger action. I dont have great ideas but am willing to share ideas with ike minded people.

With such repeated battering we dont deserve to call ourselves a nation!

It is a nice article. I think India should learn something from Israel and go beyond boundaries to eliminate terrorism and teach the lessons to terrorists.
It may not eradicate terrorism and terrorists entirely, but this is certainly better option than sitting quiet and doing nothing.

Systematic.

Systematic elimination of naapaak altogether should be the end product of the system.

The software is available off the shelf from Tel Aviv.
