I couldnt agree more to what this article says ... we need a leader like Indira Gandhi at this point of crisis ... present leaders are not capable of any strict action
Its a shock to see that our government hasnt declared a war yet. Since 1947 terrorist have murdered our people in cold blood. We should take example from America that went ahead and flattened afganistan. Shame on a government that thinks its prople are just pawns.
The present U P A government with so many centres of power is like a toothless tiger. It cannot do what is required to be done in such a critical juncture. Like in the past when our IA plane was hijacked and Mr Jaswant Singh accompanied Mohd. Azhar, and the other terrorist(Daniel Pearl's murderer)to Kandhar to exchange the passengers of hijacked flight with the terrorists, the present government is also very slow to react. It does not have the necessary courage to take bold steps to stamp out the perpetrators of the crime. The basic fault lies in our trying to be fair to people who dont deserve any fair treatment. We try to keep terrorists in jails so that they can be tried by our courts and punished according to their crimes. This philisophy itself is flawed. What is the purpose of keeping a terrorist in jail? Only to provide opportunity for other terrorists to plot something like the IA hijacking to get them released? There should be a swift trial of criminals caught for terrorist acts and judgement must be delivered swiftly and punishment carried out in less than one week. And for such an offence, the death penalty should be very liberallly used.
It's time we tell the world no more we will take these cowardly attacks lying down, It's time we tell the world we are united and terrorism will never defeat us it's time our Politicians stand up and be counted. It's time to forget about what the world what will they think and do. It's time we need to decide what we need to do. It's time we tell the countries supporting the terrorist organizations if you kill one of us hundreds of you will be killed by us. It's time they ask for peace and negotiation and not us and it's time we salute the spirit of Mumbaikars and it's also time to grief for the loss of our comrades in the bomb blast but it's also time to take that grief and show no mercy to our enemies who have committed these heinous acts to the families who have lost their father, son, mother daughter. It's time we show the world what the wrath of an Indian can do. Its time the world knows they cannot take India for granted. I
