I totally agree with you. People like you should come out more in numbers and make broadcast their views in society... Whatever points you mentioned in you post are quite the measures we need to take to prevent future terrorist attacks... I too have love for Krishna and Christ and lets hope thru are unity we are able to crush the evil designs of all who are responsible for any kind of terror attacks...

Well, I think that you are absolutely wrong on this stance. You must know one thing that the terrorist attacks doesnot happen in India but it happens in pakistan also. I am right now not in India but in different country and I have a couple of pakistani friends, and yes i have no shame in calling them friends because they r normal human beings just like u and me. If the system is wrong in india, it is wrong in pakistan as well. We must know that our leaders as well as their leaders will always have these issues ready for the next elections, all time and every time. So, why do we vote for them? They are not getting their thrones by heredity, we r giving them votes. So before giving them votes, think. Terrorist attacks are condemned all over the world and every country have their own share of terrorists also, take example of any country. They will have infilteration of terrorists from everywhere. In that case, the Govt. also cant do anything. it is the terrorists who must think properly but somehow they are hyptonised by some force. It is a pity that we have more casualities than any other countries, because our country is heavily populated. Terrorists dont have any religion. thanks

I fully agree that India needs to be ruthless.The recent Mumbai blasts and many other previous similar happenings teach us that God help them only who help themselves.If all the political parties become united to combat terrorism cutting across the party lines as they do in case of raising the M.P.'s or m.L.A.'s pays or other benifits,It will not be an impossible task to make our country free any kind of terrorism.But kya aisa hoga?
This article has maintained the decorum for publishing & it boils the blood of every indian. No one deserves to be terrorised by those 'identity crissised' terorrists.Its time now to get onto some serious actions rather than issuing some abstract statements like 'we will not bow' & 'we will handle with iron hands etc.,'
As citizens we also should become more extrovert by means of increased interactions with intelligence agencies.Intelligence agencies should ensure & encourage anonymity of the informer-which is not happening otherwise.The only choice for anti-terrorism is to establish more proximity between common man & security agencies.today we stand apart & if this continues, i wont be surprised if more such incidents occur in future.

Pl. don't mix up Secularism and our state's impotency.
For your kind info, U.S is not a Christian Country. In U.S or in any European Union, everyone is free to preeach or practice the religion of thier Choice.
It is true that the Muslim community is being appeased beyond a tolerable point by the State and the politicians. But there are the other religious people like Chirstians and Parsis are more patriotic than our Hindu Brothers.
We should pratice Secularism, but not an unnecessary appeasement of Muslim community.
In my opinion, the Hindu fundamendalists like you are equally dangerous as the Muslim terrorists.

Dear Jitendra, Gandhiji has not attained the status of Rashtrapita being ahinsawadi person, but because he was of such stature that no other person could have directed India in those days. Please leave Gandhiji out of this. Live in present days. The position of Gandhiji is and will remain as Rashtrapita. Bt the way I am not a supporter of Congress.

If one has to survive against terror, one should be prepared to stop this with similar counter attack. One can not completely stop terrorism, but can minimise this menace by such act. But, the ism...ism and ism to indulge these outfits of terror. The distroted version of Secularism lifeted the much needed law like POTA. If a terrorist is arrested he will hire top ranking advocate and will be a free-bird, becuase the unknown devil left very little evidence. Our poletician will remain safe as they are surrounded by Z category security. But, we, our freinds and relatives would sacrifice our lives. Before trying to stop terrorism, we should change our mindset, or else we should see blood bath everywhere - railway station, airport, shopping centre, temples, parks. Iam an Indian Muslim, brought up in kerala and working in a muslim nation, Iam proud Indian to say that muslims are getting more freedom in India than any other muslim nation. We should take away their leaders & suffocate their network with our intelligence.We should not follow israel or US.They are attacking even civilians. If we too do the same stuff, then wahats difference between we & terrorist's?? Try to get into the mind of a person planning to kill himself as suicide bomber.Can a normal human like us think of it? we have our own family, ambitions, job, career. These people are made devils through brain washing by terrorists leaders or with their horrific personal experience. So acts like war on terror by America & israel on civilians will result in more terrorists as it leaves more people orphans&homeles. I think priority one for any person should be to live as good human being, nation & religion come after that. Terrorism cant be allowed at any cost, & there is no excuse worth to harm innocent life, whether its by government or terrorist.Same time we should look into factors on how these terrorists are made. If we cant stop the cause, this war is going to be never ending.
Good thoughts that, however we require tremendous political will to carry out even one suggestion. As long as we carry the garb of "secularism", India can never deal effectively with these terror attacks. USA is a predominantly christian country, Israel is a jew country, what is India, hindu with several religious minorities, caste minorities not to speak of economic backwards. How will be gain the courage to implement any of these.
We have TADA, politicians do not want it, because invariably the first victims of such ruthless legislation is the politicians kin. We need to spend money on enhancing the security cover in India. Politicians do not want to spend money because it is ostensibly seen as anti minority and therefore a potential vote bank loss.
Frankly Indians do not have the guts to deal with raw face of terror, therefore, we overdo the helping bit to mask our incompetency and our inability to garner courage.
Indians never demand excellence in everything because Indians are never able to deliver excellence in anything they do. They are a prevaricating lot.

Correctly said, we need strong political will. But what to be done with TRAITORS LIKE MULAYAM SINGH YADAV, who says some members of SIMI might be terrorist, but not the entire organisation. This clearly indicates that SIMI is being given political cover in UP ( and when the blast preparations were going on, SIMI was growing in UP and other like states). He is a perfect example of Political dirt that is ruining India. India has a history of political traitors starting from Jaichand, and they are killing us even today. Now enough is enough, I believe this type of vote bank leaders are greatest enemies of India, far more dangerous than Pakistan and SIMI. Prime Minister Dr. Singh is going to talk about terror in G8 summit. If I were there, I would tell him that you don't need international support for controlling the dirty leaders of your country, who are the biggest reason for this terrorism. Also, international community is not going to tell India what to do. Look at the way US, UK and Israel are fighting terrorism. Indians can copy them in everything else from constitution to computers, but not in the way of fighting terrorism.

For a patriot his country is first and rest is next. So dear Indians lets put our country first and religion next and fight with our biggest enemy Pakistan. India and Pakistan never become friends. So forget about peace talk and just attack Pakistan. There should be two blasts in Pakistan for one in our country. Let them(Pakis) realize what an innocent human life costs.

Absolutely true , its really nice to see atleast somebody have guts to say . Same thoughts I wrote to two leading newspapers and they didn't showed courage to to put it on their website . In our country the mentality that supports these terorists is most dangerous . This handicapped goverment don't want POTA and TADA that shows they are supporting it indirectly . They are worried about their vote bank . Very first thing goverment should have willingness to do this but this so called secular peoples will give grants to the religous institution those are emering as factories to produce terrorists . Its really pity to see we are feeding these mindless creatures with our hard earned money . we will cry for few days after blasts . Our coward politicains will point to pakistaan and again they will pour money to help and open borders for buses , trains , earhquake affected peoples and terrorist will come to india using these ways . they know very well that there are peoples who will protect them even if they are caugh ,because they belong to a perticular religion . thats the story . We shld think how to demolish this internal support .

A country that elects impotents like Manmohan Singh, Shivraj Patil and Arjun Singh to lead the country and a foreigner to supervise these loafers should expect terror, bombs, naxalism and what not. We sealed the fate of those killed in the balsts the day we voted for these bunch of rogues. Why complain now?
There are no quick solutions here. Our system needs deep changes which will be painfully slow, while more bombings and terror continue. The least we can do to speed up the change is to VOTE for the least evil and the least "lutcha" politician in the next election, irrespective of which party he/she belongs to. Call me cynical, I don't see any other way.
If we continue to vote based on our caste or religion, we will continue to DESERVE the bombs and the terrorism. If any of us voted based on such considerations in the previous election, he/she has no right to complain about the bombing now; because he/she is directly responsible for it.

Well ...great thoughts.... I feel there is no point in we common people (Helpless) boiling blood about all these issues. Who are supposed to take action against this...politicians...well these barbarians exploded bombs in Indian parliament right under ..but what happened...nothing.
Let any ministry change...nothing is going to happen...we all indians are proud of our past heroes and kings...but is there one indian who is proud any of the current so called leaders...I have stopped voting... and in my life i never will...what for....
One humble request don't pull army or Police into this because if they do something meaningful, there is a lot of organisations to Sue them..Amnesty internation...Human Rights commisions and a long list...
I want to add one incident here, When the Israel athletes were killed in Germany, what did the Israel govt. did!!!! they hunted down each and every one who were responsible for it..... a special killing force was established and they gunned down each and every master mind who was behind those killings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Indian Govt needs to do it, nothing can be achieved by soft talk.... we are fed up with this..... we talk in one side and they kill from the other side... we are not just goats to be sacrificed to terrorist....................... hope............. really hope... the Govt does take some action and feel us to lift our head high in front of terrorist....
Now, the situation is like... we are shamed.. may be those master minds may be laughing at us in Rawalphindi or having a feast and we collect the pieces..... I request the govt to hunt them.... hunt them down like dogs... show them what happens if they do it again... make sure they don't dare to do it again.....
