You have reflected what was in my mind. Y does India always take soft stands against our wicked enemies when it can take tough stands reg..reservations and cauvery water issues..against their own citizens? For instance, India can learn 4rm Isrel...just 4 their 1 soldier..it's taking tough stands, not ready to negotiate and strikes the opponents with its full strength. But I'm tired of writing like this..everybody writes India has to do like this or that...but nothing happens in reality...the problem is who'll tie the bell to the cat? I'm not ready 2 loose my nice software engineering job..and fight against our own evil politicans...R u Game?
India needs to be ruthless in tackling terror. Srict measures needs to be taken against terrorists and terrorist organizations (known and most likely)
Funding and money transfers of these outfits should be monitored and freezed. CBI and police authorities have to be alert on this issue. Further we should have very highly efficient commandos to handle this type of situation. Maybe also some ngo's could be of help.
It is of crucial importance now for india to be vigilant on this issue and any slackness will be the downfall of india. Terrorist have be dealt with very firmly and without pardon.
We need to learn some lessons from Israel, they have done this over and over since time it was created as a nation. It is surrounded by hostile nations and everytime from Olympic attack to Raid on Entebbe to attack for freeing an abducted solidier show that it is not willing to take the terrorism lying down like India has been doing since 1948 when Kashmir was occupied by Pakistani tribes people.
Today no city in India is free from this kind of terror, because of our corrupt and slow moving systems these people get away scot free.
We still have to bring masterminds of 1993 Mumbai blasts to book, then there will be court case by that time they get punished, if they do, the new generation is living without being aware why the guy is being punished.

article is spot on. if this govt cannot guarantee the safety of indians, of what use is it? we have heard enough words, now is the time for action. Act now or dissappear later.
Indian Government need to employ assasins to remove the terrorist leaders as done by Israel and Russia. We need to spend more into our intelligence wing to make it more competent as Mossad. We have to move top down to iradicate these terrorist outfits.

If i were a politician and in the PM's shoes, would have ensured that our Army was given a free hand to smash the terror infrastructure that exists in POK. That is perhaps why i am not a politician and can never be the PM and will wake up every AM to get news of the latest acts of terror imposed upon us. Am aware that our Army is fully capable and does have definative knoweledge of the terrorist camps that exist in POK. That was what i would have done as an Indian and the PM but as a politician would have called for general elections once the terrorist camps were erased to ensure that my party wins the polls with a resounding mandate rather the fractured mandate that the political parties garner of late.

i absolutely agree. india needs to be ruthless and fast. if you know that these militants are from pok and lashkar or qaeda elements then why were missles not sent from india on the terrorist training camps in pok. they should have blasted those camps and sent a message about the value of every indian life. they do this again and again in india because we keep quiet and hide behind our peace-loving blanket. if krishna and pandavas can fight with their own brothers for righteousness then cant we in this yug. or are we scared or impotent. certainly the citizenry of india is not, maybe the government is. the government wants to conduct inquiry which would take months or years and what is the point in putting water once the fire is doused. missles should still go within a couple of days and leave a message DONT MESS WITH INDIANS.

I cannot agree more. Indian govt's impotency has led to the rise in terrorist attacks in recent times. We cannot be secular,non-violent,tolerant(and all that crap) when our house is on fire. Even with the blasts most Indian people just feel sorry for the families who felt the brunt and thank God about being alive and move on. This passive attitude is praised as 'resilient' and 'spirited' by our media. It is we who needs to force our govt to give answers, for the lack of intelligence or lapse in it and to fight terrorism with no mercy.
In US most of my peers have laughed at the way India deals with Pakistan and terrorism in general. It is in sharp contrast of Israel. Isreal (basically Jews) have learnt that being ruthless is the way of survival. After holocaust they cannot make mistakes if their very existence is at stake. When are Hindus going to learn that?
