yes , while terrorists are given free hand by lifting all laws against them and disarming the civilian nation to get teared apart and targeted for no reason, what is the logic of these politics and in shedding tears at the people's ill-fate. yes , there should be some ruthless lessons to be taught to the monsters.
Everybody who want to talk about some insane human rights and blah blah blah should visit the hospitals in Mumbai and feel the pain of the innnocents who are torn apart in all forms of life.
All the elitists those all willing or eager to board the buses from INDIA to Lahore, islambad and countless rterror bastions, should atleast remember once, those people who had travelled in sub-urbs on the Deadly tuesday.
Politicians should stop appealing people to remain calm whose anger is not going to turn anyway into any AK-47, instead they should show some agression to assure the citizens safety which are why they are given the power.
I agree that inquiries always go by human rights of the suspects (untill convicted) assuming that interrogators would extract more information by keeping such people than by eliminating them fast. In such cases the following should hold true:
The terrorist has no human rights; he loses them the instant he points his gun at humanity. He is not a signatory to the Geneva Convention and international laws of war should not apply to him. Since he chooses to live by the gun, he deserves to die by it.
India needs to be ruthless in tackling terror. Srict measures needs to be taken against terrorists and terrorist organizations (known and most likely)
Funding and money transfers of these outfits should be monitored and freezed. CBI and police authorities have to be alert on this issue. Further we should have very highly efficient commandos to handle this type of situation. Maybe also some ngo's could be of help.
It is of crucial importance now for india to be vigilant on this issue and any slackness will be the downfall of india. Terrorist have be dealt with very firmly and without pardon.
Excellent article portraying the importance of appropriate response to terrorist outfits. People are tired of government excuses of beefing up security and with new surprising coming their way every now and then. Unless terror is responded with terror intheir mind, it will not stop and continue to grow in intensity and sophistication. Response should be quick and swift, with sophistication of weaponry and intelligence and destructive to core.
You say what we all have been feeling for the last two and half decades. This is an 'impotent' stae. I have just started hating even the sight of our PM. What is he doing? A gutless 'leader', a compromising politician.. he isnt fit to be our PM. We say America is a bully, my foot, they have the guts, and keep it straight, thank God that he is bully. We need hundreds of more such bullies, more so in our country. I know nothing will happen, because we dont expect any thing to happen. We will be angered and bark for some time, then some thing else will crop up - a non-issue made a mountain - like when Arjun Singh opens his rubbish mouth, or when Ramadoss has every thing else to do, except work, and that would take headlines, and we will forget it. We are not an 'impotent' state, we are a bunch of heartless cowards. And our PM leads the pack.
If India cannot hunt the terrorist now then I am afraid it will never do even if these organisations were to drop an atom bomb, which they are capable of in the name of jehadi.
Here I will fully agree with President Bush. All the democratic and peace loving countries should work together to extirpate this threat once and for all.
Let the politicians realise that the patience of Indian Public is wearing out and if no punitive action is taken they will take law into their own hand
I'm with you every single bit. Its time to decide whether to go gandhi or bhagatsingh way. Our govt is not only impotent it is unashamed also. And this remark is not againt this govt only.
I have no doubt that these simple things will not penetrate through the thought-proof heads of 500+ odd jokers (with rarest exceptions) elected democraticaly and to their state level counterparts. Still I pray some bold and decisive action is taken against our ever-troubling neighbours.
But I worry the action India going to take is to start new AC bus services to pakistan and have more paki buggers as our laughter champions. [Shekhar Suman..Are you listening? U also qualify to be a member of parliament..are u reading this? or still laughing stupidly ha ha ha ha ha on Rauf Lala's stupid jokes that apart from you no one realy liked..]
