India needs to be ruthless....hmm Are'nt we forgetting our legacy?
Beloved Bapuji who single handedly fought the might of the British Imperial power one told:
-To resist Muslim atrocities by hindus using violence and intimation is tantamount to fratricide. Even if Hindus had died to a man, it would have been deliverance of Hinduism and Islam would have been purified in this land.
I'm indeed happy that the Government of India is true to the words of Bapuji- the Father of present day india.
It is a good proposal but difficult to implement.It is time to change some laws to suit our convenience,and also to punish them mercilessly.There should be a separate law to deal with the terrorists, and the Government to work faster to implement them

The police started firing back to save their own chairs. Becuase of the visibility these police and jawans have in saving the politicians, it is the self respect of that police or a jawan who can lay down his life to save the parlimentarian. Come out to a comman man road or gully, the goons, underworlds and negative elements will be living along with the same police and jawan. Thats why these people saved the politicians. India will not on its own harm any country. But nobody stops them to harm if we are harmed. I have travelled to few countries and it is enough to say that a value life of an Indian is zero compared to the value of any citizen in his/her country. I regret to say that India is its own enemy.
Here is a compressive solution that has four parts and all need to put in place .
1 . India should strike inside Pakistan, like Israel, and remove all the terrorists training camps, groups etc... As Pakistan is unable or does not want to do it. When pakistan has no control of over what operates on and from its country it forfeits it sovereignty. Indian armed forces must at all times maintain 10 to 1 superiority against pakistan just to employ this policy.
2. Remove article 370 and move all landless people from all over India to Kashmir and bring about a demographic change. This will reverses all that pak terrorists have worked for in last 20years to consolidate muslim majority . (Example: Tibet- China moves Han chinees to tibet and Xizang / POK -Pakistan -Pakistan settels ex-pak army people in POK)
3. Have hard core POTA re-instated, and Gitmo type system created to house terrorists. Have oversight to be immune from political whims.
4. India should be tracking all people entering over land , sea and air.
Great article ,stinging and sad. Its only when the blasts happen or somebody gets killed or riots take place that we sit up cry, howl in pain and subsequently as nobody seems to bother or notice we move on waiting for the next blast to start the sequence again.. Week minded,incompetent, impotent phrases that go along well with goverments. All everyone can do is give statements, "condemn the .." "cowardly act" dastardly etc" .. As if they care what you say!!Bottom line remains same "DO SOMETHING". How long will India act out the Sleeping Giant play? When will it start protecting its citizens and give some respect to what their lives are worth? If we keep giving this toothless body image it wont take long for the criminals to tear apart the country. Act and no words will be needed to get the message across.
ok fine,we the people can do our share in this matter,but we cannot go and fight one on one with the so called"terrorist"groups.when will our government do something for its own?even animals protect their own,why does the government let the very reason of its existance suffer?will the officials only respond when this terrorism begins to affect them them personally?probably the life of a mere commoner is not worth worrying about too much.
I don't know why the author conveniently ignores the Parliament attack and the response we gave. In that attack, the security gurads stood their line and gave their life to save the elected leaders. None of the leader took a scratch, but yet, they immediately deployed army to the border and threatened Pakistan with an all out war.
Time and again, when the common citizen is hit and the human tragedy is far worse by any standard these politicians know, they did nothing. Forget the common citizen, the families of the same soldiers who were sent to the borders were killed in mass and the leadership gave a muted response. Look at America, Israel. Israel started the current war on a single incident of attack against their soldier. While I am proud to be an Indian, I feel ashamed at the leadership whether it is BJP or Congress.
Before we point our fingers at Pakistan or the terrorists they support for not having any value for human lives, we should ask out leaders "Why our lives are not as worthy as the elected politicians, who come begging for the votes during election?"
I totally agree with this philosophy. These terrorist need to be talked in their languagae like america and isreil are talking. They tell us however to act democratically. I wish some of our politicians had died in the blast instead of the brave and righteous middle class hindus. The whole police and security apparatus including military is under the control of politicians and they only allow soft pussy like people to come on top of these agenices like IB, CBI, Police , ATS, Army you will see all the top people who act and look like women. These people have shamed the average citizen of india time and again . I think first we should fix our own house and take control of the politics of india and then only we could do something about saving ourselves. Beside for terrosrist we should not only target them but their women and children their relatives everybody who the love. Once we identify who it is and they run away go after their families. Burn their whole neighborhoods , bomb their hideouts. being defensive only bolden their resolve and arrogance.
I agree with the aurthor that now it's the time to take some harsh decisions instead of tacking particular communitity appeasement by our politicians. They have to send a strong message to the millitiants that it's the time to pay for killing of any indian citizen.
What's the use of keeping these terrorists in custody if they are not of any use for indian army. Start killing them in bulk with the killing of even a single killing of innocent civilians.
We should take a lesson from US which bombed 2 countries in response to the demolision of two towers. So why cann't we end up this proxy one timely instead of waging peace with our neighbours.
It's a well saying " Latoon ke bhoot batoon se nahein mante ". So if they don't hear to talks then bang them.
We have to send a message to the goverment about what steps they have taken to ensure the safety of common people not based on any religion. If they cannot ensure their safety then they should step down and ask the people for helping them.
