Terrorism
by Gouree Ramanath on Jul 13, 2006 08:15 PM  Permalink

Just in Bombay there are many such groups who call themselves very religious and we should go after them and just kill them all. They have idea what a religion should be. Such violent behavior I never hear any sane people among them saying we hate this kind of expression of our religion. I think politicians like only one thing, their election and being in power so they continue to be more corrupt and destroy my country. I think they should be shot also. As soon as they are caught being corrupt just burn them with these fanatics. We already have more Islamits than Pakistan, in another fifty years they will be significantly more in number and the whole country will be like Kashmir!! It is certain

by Vaibhav on Jul 13, 2006 08:13 PM  Permalink

Hey hey are we forgetting that we are indians.. we dont beleive in hate and revenge...we are hindus in name only while we follow christain beliefs.. we never kill our enemies , we pursue dailogs and diplomatic measures..while it seems the whole western world believes in Gita -'Vanquish your enemies. keep no foes'. Just now read on the internet that Israeli fighter planes have bombarded Beirut international airport.. reason for this - one Israeli soldier captured by Hamas.. Also just now read Mulayam Singh gives clean chit to SIMI...

Bravo India...well done.we have proved again we r indians.with the western powers praising us for showing utmost restraint n the media showering encomia abt the resiliency of mumbai, where do we have the time to shriek vengeance...we r indians after all

India needs to be ruthless
by Milind V Begoor on Jul 13, 2006 08:09 PM  Permalink

Yes Indian state needs to be Ruthless , learn from Israel, a state of just 6 million surrounded by hostile Muslim nations we are a nation of 1200 million but we dont have a strong policy. Does the Congress government wants to make present and future generations of Indians lowly cowards . We Hindus have been historically a brave race , the oldest religion in the world we have survived 700 years of Islamic onslought , now is the time teach the Muslim state of Pakistan a lesson , hit the terror targets in Baluchistan and NWFP through secret networks in Afghanisthan. The time is ripe to let them hear some music of Hindu wrath.

India needs to be ruthless

I agree with the line of thought behind the article.

Ahimsa Paramo Dharma will lead us nowhere in the war against terrorism.

We need to learn a lot from the Israel Govt. Be ruthless on the terrorist. National Security at all costs should be the motto.

But with an impotent government and and even worse PM I see no hope in the near future. We seem to be more interested in caste politics, reservation, etc than the life and safety of a common man. How else can you react to what has been happening in Mumbai for the last few years. And also our attitude or lack of it towards POK. A huge chunk of our nation is no longer ours and we shamelessly keep mum about the whole thing.

And then, what are agencies like IB, RAW doing? Even they like us hear about acts of terrorism from news channels.

No sir,

Once Mahatma Gandhi said \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"an eye for na eye makes whole world blind\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" ... we can not go and kill everybody.. we need to restrain and educate people..thats the only way..
