I share this anguish, frustation, anger. Are our leaders listening. Is there any leader(so claimed) in India who can be called statesman, who takes unbiased view of any happenings? Leaders rise above the partisan politics. Stop shedding crocodile tears. The same fate awaits you also.
George W Bush said and I quote two statements of his that set the agenda post 9-11 1) Either you are with us or with the terrorists 2) there will be no distinction between those commit such acts and those who harbour and support such people.
To achieve this 1) TADA must be reintroduced 2) Police must be allowed to enter no-go zones with massive ammunitions and helicopters if needed to demolish and destroy homes and colonies in areas where these terrorists ever found shelter 3) massive Guantanamo bay style penal settlement must get developed in Andaman so house all such individuals - supporters , financiers , harborers of terrorists and those who express views similar to the terrorists 4) all citizens must have ID cards in city such as Mumbai , Delhi or Bangalore and random checks done through biometric database 5) our response to terror will be disproportionately higher acts in countries sponsoring terrorists in India
i agree with you. you are very precise with your words india should act as israelis do just for capturing a soldier of theirs, they the israelis created a good damage to the capturers,i think we should go to the dens of these terorists blow them up, unless we act in such a way they will not mend their ways of killing innocent people.
It is time now that we follow China and Israel on how they retaliate on such a situation. What had happened on Aksharadham, Mumbai ( 2nd time), it is appreciated that Mumbai is back in 24 hours and up and running. But is this complacency going to offer a solution to those senseless terrorism killing of innocents trying to disrupt economy hub of India.
Even America and Britain are democracies and how they had reacted on 9/11 attack and 7/7 attacks.
We need to take cue from them.
Even the muslims in India need to come together along with all others. Why Human Rights organsiations are not acting now. Keeping quite when such a dastardly actions taken place on innocents
It is high time to India and the governace to act firmly and resolutely to show the world that they are not weak in dealing with terrorsim, they should adopt the same methods as that of adopted to crush the naxalisms. For sure Naxalism cannot be compared with Terrorism. But government should able to tackle the matter effectively,if this terrorism issues are addressed ruthlessly. There should be different law like TADA, not a common mans law.
Indians, let us unite in raising the voice and actions against this evil
So u want us to go out in an all out war on terror infrastructure? Just like the mythical 'war' the west is waging? An eye for a eye example for Israel..is that helping them? Are not bombings and death continuing? Not to mention the outrage it is cauing across the more peace keeping people..
I agree with you on the point you mentioned on what our government should do to protect our people..but the problem lies on how to effectively scope this operation. Who decides who is a terrorist and who is not? Who looks at the evidence before the orders are sent out? Mistake in those matters will cause more pain and prejudice than anything else.
Even Superman will protect only when the situation demands it. Even he does not proactively pursue criminal elements unless he catches them in the act..lets not fuel the wrong emotions during this fragile time. Anger is a fire which if not given a proper direction will engulf us all.
I cannot agree more! I am sure any sane person would. Is this not even Bush & Blair say? Do we see a point now? It is high time Indians shunned the 'non-violence' tag and showed the world what we are capable of as a soveriegn nation state, as our PM himself put it that we cannot be cowed down. It is time we translated these words in to action before another macabre mayhem strikes the unsuspecting innocent civilians!
