by anil kumar tiwari on Jul 14, 2006 02:31 AM  Permalink

HELLO SIR,

I am cent percent agreed with you that we have to take a bold step otherwise the land of unity among diversity is going to vanish as soon as possible, and that day people will know only one language that is of gun and justice will be on gunpoint and might be our polticians dont want to see the day of darkness which is rising day by day due to these type of incidents, they just think that govt gives them securities why to bother for a common man and it is a common man who has to suffer always i think somethinglike this we should bring an amendment in our laws so that they will be happy all of them are equal no one of them is ready to work for selfless as per me in india we hav two K factor which can be eliminated to make india neat and clean there are alot to write but nothing can be done, cause today is not the same as before independence where wars were fought with pens.....

Thanks & Regards,

anil.

Note : Whenever u hav any article like this plz send it in my id, these might help me one day if i be one the freedom fighter of free india which is free but still we are slave.

India needs to be ruthless

You are absolutely right, when you say India is a soft state. Believe the need of the hour is to have some one like our earlier PM, the Iron Lady Mrs. Indira Gandhi. She had the guts, which none of the men in the cabinet had/has. All major decisions whether its the 71 war or the the Pokhran test implosion, was taken so appropriately. Had she been there today, the situation wouldn't have come to this far.

Ruthlessness

Venegence! Ruthless!---India,My dear, these words are not in our memory,we are Modern Indians,we are of worshippers of non voilence,we invite our enemies to punch us when we are sleeping,we provide him every detail of our activity,so that he can know well in advance when is the proper time for him to attempt a punch on us,we believe getting ourselves hurt in a manner that our enemy is satisfied with his act of hurting us,we do not want that our enemy should feel belittled for his deeds,we know where from our enemy operats, we know where from he takes off, we also know how to nip him in the bud,but we do not act, instead we feel great when we tell him that we know what he is doing and how he is executing his plans against us,we know that we can crush him in a manner that he won't be able to stand on his legs again but we make sure that he is not disheartned,we send him the transport so that he can move freely into our land.WE know he has only one agenda and that is to bleed us every now and then, one way or the other,we know he is taking advantage of our polcy of non-retaliation.But we assure him we will act as our policy makers and leaders ruthlessly sleep over the wounds of nation.

Rubbish

I grew up in Bombay - I love the city. While in theory, you are right - any state which goes to war commits excesses against humanity. The problem is not killing terrorists - the problem lies in identifying them and making sure not a drop of innocent blood is shed. India's foray into Sri Lanka was an example of how excesses are committed. I have lived in the USA for a few years as well...Americans are a good people, but the American forces commit atrocities against prisoners, Iraqis, Afghans. Non-violence is not cowardice. A Taiwanese friend of mine told me how much the world admires India for never resorting to violence. Well, my blood boils too. But it is very easy to lead a country into war - whether it is a democracy or a military dictatorship - you merely have to deride the peaceful citizens as unpatriotic and cowardly and the majority of the people would back you. While I share your pain and anguish, I certainly don't agree that "going to war" or "dismantling networks" is the key. I could have easily been on that train. So could you. But I would much rather not have my country stoop to the abysmal levels of Israel and the US Govt.

India needs to be ruthless in its vengeance

Well written. Should reach the law makers first...

Points our Law makers should note:

1. Introduce public awareness on how to take measures for the suspicious activity, if noted. Should better be spread across schools / universities. What our well placed Army is doing? It does not fight wars throughout the year!!!

2. Bring in pleace stringent laws that help fight terrorism.

3. Adopt a tit-for-tat rule for enemies. If you have killed 200 people of mine, I will kill 1000 of yours...

4. They should react in exactly the similar way, had this incident happened in the Parliament house...

5. Come on, it's not a time to be worried, the incident is a shame for the nation and any step towards betterment should be in place...

The solutions remains in two things

one : To stop entry of criminals in politics .

two : to end corruption .

The day we achieve these two things we will won every terrorist attack

time to act
by swati on Jul 14, 2006 12:55 AM  Permalink

its not enough to agree to one another views . we had had lots n lots of talks n its more than enough . its time to gather together n do sth , take some actions . its long time we left our security in hands of so called leaders of ours , they haven't done anything and there is no chance they are going to do it now . its the common man that suffers ..
we should be more vigilent , keep our eyes open at all and every time.
