This guy has come up with the right kind of approach we should follow. We should stop being mute victims and be proactive in our approach.India as a nation is capable of controlling this terror.Who knows better about terrorism than India. Each and every part of the nation has faced this evil some or the other time. Its time for our national leaders to stand up and do something very obvious and highly desired. And we as citizens of this great nation should do whatever is required from our side.We can kill this evil provided we have the will and right approach.

india needs to be ruthless

WELL WRITTEN! BRAVO
Most of the crimes go un punished. Why? money and political power!and effective l(aw)ieing. To boot it, in this land there is no law to punish economic offenders or so was stated some time back in parliament. And add to this, in karnataka, today there is no law to punish the land grabbers grabbing 100's of acres of prime land. I dont know how it is elsewhere!. Punishment against law breakers must be exemplary. There must be fear(terror) for disobeying law which is practically absent now.
The terrorists must be handled by military courts, within a matter of 3 to 4 months and then publicly hanged from the tallest pole for every one to see. They shall not be imprisoned for life and fed and fattened and encouraged to commit more crimes using modern technology.

India needs to be ruthless

Bravo, I agree totally. We must negotiate eventually, but when we do it must be from a position of power. We need to use our wits and might to crush these anti-national elements.

Spot on!

Some sections of the article are spot on. I can be termed as one of those guys who would have jumped up and said no, dont use force, let us talk it over. Not any more - The Indian govt needs to do exactly as what is being said in the article - combine brute force along with strategic diplomatic talks. If an example is needed look out to Israel.Look at what US is doing in Iraq. In some ways I agree with the US action. They are taking the war directly to the cradle of Islamic terrorism - the middle east.If the US doesn't do that, the terrorists will come looking for them in the US. India should follow these examples. When we do use the force, it should be done by the proper folks - trained commandos.Common citizen should never be pushed to an extend where he takes up arms. This could lead to chaos and anarchy. I hope that the Indian govt lead by Manmohan Singh will do the needful.

India Needs To Be Ruthless
by Girish on Jul 14, 2006 10:03 AM  Permalink

Hi,

This is awesome. This is the same kind of surge going through my mind. One fact i need to accept that the state of the Indian Government and the Armed forces is like a Macho Man who is impotent and fears to fight.

Regards

Girish

Yes. India needs to be ruthless.

This item seems to be coming straight out of my heart. This is exactly what each and every true citizen of India thinks. Its high time India showed its power to these mongrels. Shishir is right when he says that we should chase and gun them down wherever they may be hiding. We've had enough of peaceful talks.
