I agree completely with Gaurav...nice to know that someone is thinking from a different point of view on the calamity at hand.
The media ought to get out of its 'wannabe reporter' shell trying top emulate the 'well developed and refined journalistic capabilities of BBC or CNN'. Insensitive can be the only word used to describe the journos who doggedly pursue only to bring news first to the viewers and in the process tend to forget about the sensitivity of the people watching in anticipation so wonderfully described by Gaurav as the 'Mumbai Mom'.
Mumbai meri jaan, tujh pe jaan qurbaan! I, for one consider myself to be extremely fortunate to be born in our wonderful Mumbai city. It is truly the city of dreams, a city of silent resilience and above all this is the city which never fails to exhibit the human spirit in trying times such as this...
A city is made or undone by the people who live in it...and our Mumbai is the greatest by any measure. The research guys from Readers Digest can go take a walk....
The act of terrorism in any kind is not acceptable in any form and where ever in the world. When terrorist thought of attacking My Mumbai i think the must have thought that after doing all this stuff ,the mumbaikars will be scared and then communal fighting will take place...ur plans are total failure . see for urself how mumbai has turned up again .mumbai never bends ,and will never bend .
I fully agree with Gaurav,he's hit the nail on the head by airing his views about the media(both national & international),authorities etc.. Mumbai is not a city which can be cowed down by any of these manmade disasters.Mumbai will rise and shine each day and it has a style of its own-nothing comparable.
i think mumbai as it in this two days has shown lot of guts .not only that the magazine should be shown when it has written that mumbai as the rudest city in the world also has some kindest people living when everyone from a 8 yr old to 80 yr old was distributing water and food topeople who were going on their houses walking ,it was the city people who came to help first and no media who was shmelessly watching and showing all of these without any shame or responsibilty on their part.
i have hats off to those who live inb mumabi and bringing back life to it
