And folks, please lets not pretend there are no rapes, murders and AK 47s in India, and they are only in Pakistan and Somalia. Not only we have them, we also have dowry system, rampant corruption, female foeticide, untouchability and ofcourse reservation ! I think this Pure desi is kattar Pakistani and halkat gaddar.All tratior Muslims deserve to live in fear.I do understand that not all Muslims are like that but you dont know which Muslims will act against India.And yes I do support executing ll those Hindus who think Anti-India. Even they have evil practices in Pakistan but still they conduct blasts and kill people in India.Then y dont u go and preach that dadiwala Osama Bin Laden.Have u got the guts to do so...phat gayi....chaddi gili ho gahi kya be. India should become an Islamic state as Islam is the only global religion that is capable of protecting all its true adherents. Worshipping cows and stones will leave one weak and without self-esteem; all Indians should take recourse to the teachings of the Holy Quran and the words of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him) and Inshallah we will surely emerge as a strong and proud nation capable of self-defence.

What is definition of strength and weakness? PAKISTAN,AFGHANISTAN,SOMALIA where laws have ceased to exist,children carry AK-47s,women are raped to satisfy tribal honour....???? or a country where inspite of such a calamity the state or the people in general will not create a state of anarchy not because they are cowards but because they will not allow INDIA to be another pakistan or iraq or some failed state.

Dear friend i aprreciate your idea. its really great. I will say like other religions islamic religion is great but follower are regids. Just understand the difference between religion and spirituallity, Ansto this ...Plz refer your old grand father/momm when and in which situatiuon they adopted the islamic religion. Its a shame for an indian to think like that in this momment when we require unity. It is not he religion that unites but the nationality. If religion was the only base of unity then Bangladesh would never have been created. Please do not hurt the religious sentiments of the majority religion . First try to be a good Indian and then u can be islamic or whatever.

If you cannot stay in a country where cow and stones are worshipped then get lost from here. IF you look world over islam is not protecting anyone. It is only killing innocent poeple world over. What do you assume from this fact? Which religion is the cause of all this pain? Please rediff editor dont edit this reply out. Cz its in the interest of our beloved country.
India has this major risk that the US doesnt....it has swarms of people who live in poverty, are already frustrated, and have nothing to lose. So for the government to take aggressive action would probably incite further attacks, riots, murders, retaliation... maybe even a civil war. The US didn't bomb its own people... it bombed a country that is 10,000 miles away. Much easier to do when you only have to watch it on TV.
Are you suggesting that US bombed the Mumbai trains? You've got to be kidding!! YOU are responsible for YOUR own country's well being. YOU are electing the govt who does nothing. You are too busy whining and fighting among yourself. Don't you think there were Muslims on that train that died too? YOU, the citizens of India, need to come together and take action. Actions speak a lot louder than words. Shame on you for sitting around and playing the blame game while your country men & women die.
This was worth reading. I was personally very close by to 2 of the 13 blasts on March 12th, 1993, at the Stock Exchange and Air India Building. On July 11th, 2006, two of my staffers were on others trains on the same track as the blasts, fortunately they got off as the trains were halted. Two kind and helpful young ladies. Thank God they are alive.
What causes such hatred? Islam does not preach hatred. Then why is every terrorists name of Islamic origin? They all seem to be born into Islamic families and then deviate into becoming `barbarians'. I expressed my views strongly during 9/11 on/through CNN. I do believe that it is only the moderate from the Islamic faith who will be able to control this menace. People of other religions will meet with no success. And some others will undertake foolish actions such as the offensive on Afghanistan and Iraq and the riots of Gujarat, only adding to the madness and escalating the situation.
Can we all get one up on these thoughts, may be by a joint (Indo-Pak) military offensive against terrorist bases - everywhere in the region?

this would be possible after 50 years.when whole of this indian subcontinent would become one(muslim).
I think the author is right. You may blame the US for atrocities in the IRAQ, but didn;t thier people face the atrocities of Saddam. OSama may not have been caught, but he sure cannot hit back the US again. like a hunter hunting an animal, the US is totally focussed in hunting OSama and iam sure they will be successful soon.
but on the other hand though our government knows where the terrorist are hiding they have done nothing but talk and have lunch -ons with our enemies. If today US would have been attacked, Pakistan would have been completly perished by now.
Hope we get a BUSH who will not stop till he kills the evil.
