Train Terror in India
by Sai Praneeth Mamillapalli on Jul 13, 2006 10:17 AM  Permalink

The incident is sick..I like to mention that Indian government is trying hard to put the terrorist in place..but it should also take a clue from USA, as soon as WTC happened US bombed afghanistan..So India Should also take such type of extreme measures to put the wrong people in their place...

by Narendra on Jul 12, 2006 02:28 PM  Permalink

I am surprised to read whre is Home minister... It should have been Who is the home minster...? Is there anybody existing... I dont think so.. Home minister is the person who is not at all intersted in portfolio..he has been made Hm because of the Gandhi family Loyalty only... and now he is sleeping...
During the NDA rule we know now whats good governance is.. This government is only intersted in enjoying power.. not adding any value.. just pulling the cream..
Its all Bakwas people in Delhi..

RE: ''Where is the home minister?''
by Sambit Das on Jul 12, 2006 02:26 PM  Permalink

We are not surprised at the anguish of the honourable Prime Minister. After all this was to happen when people like the Home Minister are given sensitive posts, that require grit and super talent, just because they know or are close to some body powerful. People like these know only lip service, when the actual time to deliver comes they would run miles from their duty.

I would implore the honorouble Prime Minister that leaving aside the compulsions of the coalition where he has to put up with such incompetent persons, that he ensures that sensitive places in the Goverment and in the intelligence set up be provided to people who are capable of delivering, not just giving excuses.

Mumbai would not have seen such a horrendous incident if our intelligence agencies would have been alert. Mr Prime minister sir please ensure that at least in such sensitive posts we have capable people who work and act with only the NATION on their mind and nothing else.

Thank You
Sambit Das

Where is the home minister?''
by A Citizen on Jul 12, 2006 02:16 PM  Permalink

I hope the government does not do " a 1993 bomb blast " again, where it took ages to even come up with convictions.

India ( for that matter important cities ) should have some stricter laws to bring those involved , even to the smallest extent in such acts to severe punishments. ( and not 3 years RI ).

inorder to dissuade people taking up terrorist acts , there must be some strong action against those found guilty.

The State Government is a bunch of eunuchs , and especially its leader :-(. I feel he does not know what a chief minister is supposed to do for the state.

Train terror
by Sanjiv Kanwar on Jul 12, 2006 01:45 PM  Permalink

the recent Mumbai train bombs have just shown that the Indian intelligence agencies are able to give out the warning signals in time.......The war against terrorism can be won only by effective intelligence - not by making statements .....

thanks,

Train terror....
by Gokul on Jul 12, 2006 12:11 PM  Permalink

It is indeed shameful and disgusting that innocent train commuters are targetted such a way that explosives are planted in local trains killling many of them.

For this type of holocaust we have to hold the intelligence dept. of Home Affairs Ministry responsible. It is time that impotent Home Minister of UPA Govt. is sacked immediately and National Security Advisor is hauled up and shown his place.

By the by whole of Mumbai is agahsat over the unprecedented situation the cilty is in, the city MPs like of Deora, Govinda not seen anywhere at least not in the news channel.

Are they fit to represent Mumbaikars in this kind of situation ?
