Mumbai Blasts
by Harikumar Varma on Jul 12, 2006 03:28 PM  Permalink

For all the administrative inefficiencies which have been creating a sense of complacency again and again, and causing more harm to people in this city, there could perhaps be only one solution which may be workable: Let the Indian Army take over the control of the city's administration and shake all those miscreants out. Let all the hidden outfits be probed and counter intelligence mechanisms used. The crime branch, CID, IB, Juducial Enquiries, all have become just farce in bringing peace. In all my senses I say, the Army could be the last hope...

Letter to the Terrorist
by sameer on Jul 12, 2006 03:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Terrorist,

Even if you are not reading this we don't care. Time and again you tried to disturb us and disrupt our life - killing innocent civilians by planting bombs in trains, buses and cars. You have tried hard to bring death and destruction, cause panic and fear and create communal disharmony but everytime you were disgustingly unsuccessful. Do you know how we pass our life in India? How much it takes for us to earn that single rupee? If you wanted to give us a shock then we are sorry to say that you failed miserably in your ulterior motives. Better look elsewhere, not here.

We are not Hindus and Muslims or Gujaratis or Marathis or Punjabis or Bengalis or South Indians. Nor do we distinguish ourselves as owners or workers, govt. employees or private employees. WE ARE INDIANS . We will not allow you to disrupt our life like this. On the last few occasions when you struck (including the 7 deadly blasts in a single day killing over 250 people and injuring 500+ in 1993), we went to work next day in full strength. This time we cleared everything within a few hours and were back to normal - the vendors placing their next order, businessmen finalizing the next deals and the

mumbai blasts
by TARIK MAKHIJA on Jul 12, 2006 03:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I believe that these blasts were made as attempt to disturb the peace ,harmony ,integrity ,unity of the people. These blasts might be planned to encourage riots among various religious communities living in Mumbai.
But we as the citizens of india should not worry about these terrorist acts. We should show the world Indians are One, We are United to help each other in the any kind of situation as mumbaikars showed it on tuesday when people from nearby places came to help each other.
We should be well prepared to face such kind of situations.
I think that news channels and other Channels should show some kind of programmes related to Disaster Management and recovery so that people can prepare themselves well in hand.

Jai Bharat,Jai Maharashtra,Jai Mumbai.

by Bharath on Jul 12, 2006 03:03 PM  Permalink

who/what is the worst thing that has happened to India......?
who is the one ruining the life of India since 10th century.......?
can any body say??????
I know we Indians never will realize.....we are the shameless creatures....
the day is not no far when this whole civilization competes with somalia etc if things go in this fashion....
Inspite of all these things, we are so shameless we still vote for antinatioinal politicians like Marxists/leftists who nurture barbarians/extremists, who doesnt mind arranging a ralley of antinationals to oppose IRAQ war at the cost of killing 40 odd fellow Indians.....
thats why we dont deserve a good government, administration!!!!
we are somuch shameless.... i dont have any words....
God Save this country!!!!
