India does not need to side with the US to be a target of terrorist attacks. the blasts in 1993 were before India and US came closer and even the ill-fated year of 2003 when terrorist targeted Mumbai four times. India has a terrorism problem in Kashmir and in general with the Islamic terrorist organizations now for over 14 years. Raher than stay away from the US we need to work with them (and other nations)in intelligence gathering and take this groups out of action.
The author is naive in thinking that terrorists will not target India if it stands isolated and in a corner. In fact, that's a road to disaster as terrorists cells are interconnected all over the world and an isolated nation would simply be a lamb to the slaughter.
These guys who perpeterated the blasts are enemies of freedom and tolerance and we should stand alongside all nations who susbcriber to these values and are beset with a terrorism problem to defeat these evil guys.
We should strict our modulus of operandi while handling with anti-national elements. Having political ties withany country is an diplomatic decision and is always decided by the benefits the country will have from it but as far a America is concerned we should keep in mind that militant acts are even before when america was not on our side. It's a law and order problem should be delt firm with hard stances because if India has be become a hub then it has to ensure the a peaceful flurishing environment for the business.
Ofcourse its a sad day in mumbai. and I feel sorry for the people out there. Like always, media and the Hindu Extremist did'nt hesitate to put the blame on Alqaeda in particular and muslims in general. To be frank with you, as being a muslim, I am least concerned to the blames and arguments you put on us. I am surprised to see the bunch of terrorist, also known as politicians, when they show their ugly faces on television and ask us to maintain peace. I want to ask them how much they suffer with yesterdays tragedy? did they loose any of their family members??? But for muslims, we cry everyday to see our brothers & sisters being salughtered by the invaders & crusaders. Mr. P.M, here is a lesson for you to learn. If you gonna support the crusaders in thier war on terror, by any means, you will have to face such tragedies over time. Again I am very sorry for my beloved people in mumbai and please guys think not for who did this; think for why did this happened?????
There is absolutely no use of discussing this topic. India is a soft sate and terrorists will continue to make merry. India is a failed state in all aspects of providing basic facilities of life.
