Serial blasts in Mumbai railways.
by shashikant Lonikar on Jul 11, 2006 10:00 PM  Permalink

This is a very shocking news and we can imagine how safe we are in our own independent country.
Now the political parties without making any politics of this issue do something better in the interest of the public.
Now so many commissions will be appointed by the government and they will submit their reports after 8-10 years by the time the accused will be nowhere and those who lost their near and dear ones will be left only with an alternative to pray the god.

Now all so called big political leaders will visit Mumbai and will put more pressure on mumbai police. So many monetary benefits will be offered but in fact nothing will be distributed.

My request to all those who lost their near and dear is that keep faith on god and pray that may the soul rest in peace.

wakeup Politicians...
by Bhushan on Jul 11, 2006 09:57 PM  Permalink

Hi All,
This message is for all politicians, past and present,BJP/CONG/BSP/etc . It is time to wakeup and put an end to terrorism. Do not fight among yourselves to grab the power by playing dirty politics. Do not count by number years you were in the seat or by earning large amount of money. At the end you will not take the money with you. Do something to get the name to our country. Take the example of Israel, surrouded by Muslim countries, still manages to fight.

Punish the people who gives shelter these terrorists. Do not play your dirty politics here.

bombay blasts
by vasanth pai on Jul 11, 2006 09:56 PM  Permalink

I think the blasts were planned at least a few days in advance and hence cannot be taken as a retaliation for sunday's rampage by shiv sainiks. Synchronous withthe sringar blasts, they indicate a foreign hand without doubt. It may come as no
surprise if al queda is now turning its eyes eastward and we cannot miss to see the connection with our cosying up to USA the nuclear deal, our muted stand on iraq etc. God knows how we will deal with this menace. The sheer mass of humaniaty in this megalopolis is so huge that no precautions can be taken to check the luggage in train compartments, etc. The fact that these explosive devices were placed in first class compartments raises a question.l are the passengers travelllng by first class either snobbish or so nonchalant that they failed to notice packages placed on the racks or under seats. In this city people hardly notice each other whether in trains or on roads or even in apartment buildings. Life goes on regardless of such tragadies. It wont surprise me if people go to work as usual tomorrow if the trains run or even if they dont thy will hitch rides or walk down to offices That is the undying spirit of mumbaikars!

Mumbai blasts
by dr. a. j. khan on Jul 11, 2006 09:49 PM  Permalink

It's very unfortunate to see such acts of violence let happen unabated. Where is it in any religion that one should kill innocent people, such act of violence can never be justified in any case.
This cruelty should be put to an end. How long are we going to let this happen, our leaders should send a very clear and stiff message to these terrorists and their sponsorers. The whole country should get united uniformly on this issue to deal with this situation firm handedly at every level. This is the time for Muslims in particular to come forward and decide for themselves about their role under such circumstances. The Muslims have greater duty, responsibility and role to play in contributing the harmony and prosperity of our country. No more, no longer, nowhere should this happen in any part of our country and world in general.
