What the hell are these VVIP gonna do in Mumbai?
by P.E.J. on Jul 11, 2006 10:24 PM  Permalink

Well if go by the news at rediff.com then SONIAJI, Shri Lalu Yadav, Shri Shivraj Patil, Shri Advani & Shri Rajnath Singh will be in Mumbai in next few hours.

THIS NEWS IS DISHEARTENING! What are these VVIP's gonna do in Mumbai. Talk to the injured, speak to the victim's relatives, give a press view, congratulate the citizens for responding to the emergency & fly back home. AS USUAL.

But do they don't understand that with them all in Mumbai at almost the same time will only put additional pressure on the police force and that will only help in diverting the state government machinery's attention away from the situation and instead get busy in providing these VVIP's their needed security. Forget the traffic jam it causes to the Mumbaikars when such people visit the city.

Are they coming to garner sympathy for themselves?

Loopholes in the security system...
by Rohit on Jul 11, 2006 10:20 PM  Permalink

The People of Mumbai have yet again witnessed & suffered the blasts tht rocked & took away lives.

The relatives will get some 50,000 to wipeoff their tears.

there is no security system at any of the railway stations of mumbai as is known to all. Of course but, our police officials have other interests while sitting idle. they are more happy making their pockets warm through 50/ 100 from defaulters doin serious crimes like crossing the tracks etc.

Do our high profile politicians have any right to take securities for their own?
by Soumen Chowdhury on Jul 11, 2006 10:08 PM  Permalink

This blasts has shown that only God can save us. Our callous leaders and administrators always deliver big talks after any such kinds of happenings. This is not the credit of our leaders or administrators when nothing is happened. This is only the fate of the common people. The leaders should be shameful to take or to increase their own securities which they buy with tax payers's money. Even they should not have any right to take this when they failed to give the minimum securities to the common people.

Serial blast in Mumbai railways
by Vivekanandam on Jul 11, 2006 10:06 PM  Permalink

Whoever is behind this blast,is not human! Killing inncocent passengers---women, children and unsuspecting common man,is unforgivalbe. The culprits must be hunted down ruthlessly and brought to book. Capital punishment should be given to these 'animals'. A civilised society cant be merely keeping silent, when atrocities like this happen.
