DESTRUCTIVE MENTALITY........!
by SHIVANAND PANDIT on Jul 12, 2006 08:58 AM  Permalink

Disasters reveal the destructive mentality of human beings(not fit to be recognised as human beings).Expression of sympathy,Criticising the system of society,Asking for Aid etc.take birth after this. But the question is how to prevent such shameless Acts? Are we thinking of any strategic remedial measures without getting influenced by politicians(elected jokers)?Generally we do not bother to visualise these issues. The fire is on in our neighbour's place today, tomorrow is our turn! WHAT NEXT?

Acts of cowardice
by Vani on Jul 12, 2006 08:54 AM  Permalink

My heart goes out to the families of those who have perished or been injured in these blasts. These mindless acts of violence are nothing but sheer cowardice. It is at times like these that the petty differences should be forgotten and the nation should stand together as one and lend a helping hand to each other.

Horrific Bomb-blasts in Mumbai on 11/7.
by HPS on Jul 12, 2006 08:44 AM  Permalink

Food for thought:
1.The attack was, obviously, aimed at causing maximum fear and antagonism amongst the public.
2.The selection of the 1st class compartments suggests that the perperators wanted to,seemingly, spare the poorer section of the society. No specific caste or community seems to have been targetted.
3.No sane INDIAN could have been involved in this ruthless operation. All pointers lead to the use of the underworld by vested foreign intersts.
4.Maybe the police could examine the following:
-Announce an award of a few lacs for anybody giving positive leads about the perpretrators of this crime.
-Try and find-out if there was anything un-usual noticed by the public-Eg.:A person, not fitting the usual 1st Class commuter-profile,entering or leaving the concerned 1st Cl compartments.
-Precipitating a change in law wherein the accused are tried swiftly,by a Special Court, and HANGED.This sort of criminilisation with IMPUNITY cannot be allowed to continue in any progressive Society.
-Tightening-up the access points to public transport and random frisking of commuters. The common public will,no doubt, support these checks and controls.

It is really unfortunate to my country
by Nitesh Nahata on Jul 12, 2006 08:34 AM  Permalink

It is really unfortunate that even though we have one of the strongest army in the world and not able to save our own country man. I am away from my country but I really love my city amchi mumbai and today whole day I could not work , my heart was crying with pain , life has become so uncertain that you never know your loved ones are going to return home alive or not. We must strike upon such terrorists and finish them all. Mumbai has always been unfortunate to be a victim of such horrifying acts but mumbaikers are the people with courage and I know from tomorrow the life will be normal because no matter what so ever harm our enemies have planned but we mumbaites will keep moving ahead and keep moving our country. A great salute to all the people of Mumbai. I am far from my city but my heart and support is always there with each citizen and will surely help all the victims with my best possible capabilities. I urge our other Indians who stays abroad to help in the best possible way and keep our country moving.
