The Maoists are only biding their time, pretending to go participate in the new 'peace initiative' proffered them by the new parliament. Their ultimate goal is to destroy all forms of democratic govt, to be replaced by their totalitarian, Pol Pot-styled 'peoples' proletatriat. The Indian Communists are gleefully waiting for this to happen as they will then seek to replicate same in India - they've already started the process, with active Communist insurgencies in over half the states, which the PM and his Commie govt are more than content to see it cover the entire nation.
