The news of bandh in Mumbai is in front page throughout the world. Why was the need for the Sena to stone the buses and close down all the shops. Is this a developing and super power nation. This shows that the senas are illiterate. I feel ashamed to be from Bombay which these politicians have changed the name to Mumbai. This has brought a bad name for the city. It looks that the survey done by Readers digest was correct. Can\\\'t these problems be solved peacefully and let the police handle it. Before the police could handle the situation the sainiks already have started creating problem. Stoning buses, shutting shops and burning......this will not bring peace but a bad reputation of the city.
When shivsena protests it is dubbed as communal and fanatic. In biwandi last week muslim goondas killed the innocent ppl and burnt buses. but media jihadies did not make such huge noise.when anti bush rally happended the protesters killed 40 innocent ppl in various part of india. public bank looted & public property was damaged. but it is dubbed as freedom of expression. as per ind media mulsim extermism & crime, goongardi are covered as freedom of expression and social & economical backwardnesss if hindus does same act it becomes communal
Please note that this is the emotional issue of laks of people and theie sentiments. Government should respect their feelings. Mrs . Thai Saheb is not a statue, now she is becoming status of self respect.
Dont compare this situation with Biwandi issue, that issue is completely political and insane action of communal politicians.
It is easy to destroy public property without being accountable under law or equity. All destroyers have a place in public eye and memory ( Genghis Khan onwards) because tomorrow the affected person could be yourself or your family. If ordinary citizens like ourselves go around beating up our neighbour or burning their scooter or car for any real or perceived grievance, we would not be allowed to get away with it. A party of hooligans are allowed to do so. I wonder what would be the reaction of yesterday's miscreants if ordinary citizens went to the place of work or business or residence of such miscreants and destroy their property.
dude.... as far as what the sena did on sunday, we never underestimated the sena. if it comes to peace... then we can underestimate the sena. to be honest i dont see any victory in sunday's activity of the sena. destroying the livelihood and property of innocents is not victory. its cowardice. if the property of the state was damaged one could understand the entire burden falls on the tax payers to bear it up. Think about the livelihood of those gone up in flames like a burning bus or smashed within like a glass mcdonalds window or bruised within like the common man of maharashtra. they few who showed their might got their say but the rest of us the majority of us got those silent curses which will see the light as time will tell. god is not far.
It is highly shameful.....Shiv Sena grow up.........the people of Mumbai are going to throw them out from BMC, their last bastion soon......I had to miss my 4:30 p.m. show because of thier stupidity........
This is the only party which speaks of issues that are of no concern. they were speaking of building a temple in some part of the world some months back. Here is a word of suggestion for the Lousy Sena in the Sidhu Style...
My friend, you must first understand that a quack of a duck never echoes.
Grow up Shiv Sena. Don't behave like pampered babies. Look how much you can achieve without speaking of temples and masjids.
