This is totally ridiculous - democratic rights are one thing, but no one, no matter how incensed or outraged, can be allowed to break the laws with impunity - the govt must arrest these violent hooligans forthwith and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, especially for destruction of public property. Govt must send the message that it will not tolerate lawlessnes and violence by anyone, irrespective of their position. When govts fail to enforce the law, it openly encourages mayhem, anarchy and chaos - it's time to put a stop to such destructive hooliganism!
