the doctors should be lathi charged, beaten and then thrown in jail and then fired if they dont do the job they are supposed to be doing. there are many others that can be hired.
It appears that the State is hell-bent to permanently create a division between the citizens, craftily planned in the garb of resevations, then AIIMS interference,the Bhiwandi clash etc (these come to mind since they are all current matters). The end result is the keeper of law and order is facing ordinary citizens in the form of monsters, who are being ordered to have this confrontation by politicians.When I see the manner in which some COPS behave, vivid recollection of Gandhis Salt March comes to my mind.I hope ONE of these days SOME independent thinking COP will refuse to carry out such orders. We will then have the most piquant of situations.Ofcourse such a man will immediately be suspended by the Government, and then what ? Dear politicians wake up, before you are put to sleep. Don't play games any more. I do know of HONEST COPS who are now on the verge of resignation due to these situations.And by COPS I do not mean the poor udernurished underpaid man on the beat, but the more EDUCATED and higher placed officers.Time is NOT far when they, per se will refuse to do the politicians dirty work. And they will have the support of EVERY common man.

I do not want to air my opinion what the docs of AIIMS are doing at this stage. first let us be impartial on fundamental aspect of strike. some political parties indulge in strikes for some issues and make the public suffer when they take out road shows why the same public do not bother about the other fellow being's suffering why only when the doctors go on strike these people shout that they do not bother about suffering of the patients. the elotronic media and the press and above all, those political parties only shout on one side. suffering is a suffering whether he is a patient or normal human being on the road. as long as we do not realise then it is outrightly unfair to shout only at one section of society. it is high time the govt should call all the political parties, discuss and bring out a rule and enforce about how to make our dissent on any issue concerning the society, without causing harm to others. there msut be some sense for democratic rights, responsibilities and accountability. mohanln
Keep it up Doctors. The whole Nation is behind you including the Hon'ble Supreme Court. These corrupt politicians should not be allowed to have their say in ruining the prestige of the Institution. The Congress was handicapped for fear of losing power and thereby Succumbed to the pressure of the Minister's father but we have no such 'majboori'. Long live Dr. Venogoppal. Was the government and the Minister Anbu not aware of the consequences of their action of sacking Dr.Venugopal. They are very much aware. Further is it not true that even thogh they had stated to the Hon'ble Supreme Court that they would not take action against the striking Docs if they returned to work but decided on no work no pay only to further antagonise the Docs when the matter was subjudice. Even SC had to rap the government on such an action. The politician Anbu is only playing politics and stoking the trouble in AIIMS to tarnish the reputation of the institution and hell bent upon destroying the institutions to satisy his ego. The government and the health minister is particularly responsible for the deaths. True, the Docs could have been more humane and started with parallel treatment outside the hospital for serious patients, provided they are allowed to do this. Recent episodes show that the Docs are not allowed by the Government machinery to take care of the patients outside the Hospital by brutally and forcefully removing the shamianas being set up by them for treatment of patients. It is totally unfair to blame the doctors for the strike called by them.
If these striking people would have been from a political party, this would not have happened but these are doctors (common public), so politicians are using Police force to weaken them. Shame on our police who do not serve public and do their duties but they are just used to serve Politicians (hidden criminals) and criminals. Now why everybody is blind? Good that atleast media seems impartial and not working under political influences.
