This is purely politics and best example merit vs reservation quota. Dr.gopal a dedcated doctor gave 45 yrs service to AIMs. nobody can deny his great service & he is an excellent professional doctor. If he spends some time /day with a private Hsp, he would have earned in both hands or he would be world famous he migrated to any other country rather than rotten in AIMS service. This is called selfless service dr. ramdoss a product of TN reservation policy does not know how to treat an ordinary cold fever patient. He choose politics and used his power to sack dr.gopal. Now an close associate of Dr. romadoss from TN ( may a obc candidate ) will take over AIMS. This is not service but power hungry politics Pappet MM will not do anything b'cuz everything is controlled by super PM sonia

It is certainly unpalatable to open -minded lay public why a celebrated Doctor such as Professor Venu Gopal is so brusquely terminated from his eminent Position of being the Director AIIMS,New- Delhi. Messrs Ramdoss and his UPA Partners such as Sri SitaRam Yechury of cpm politbureau and others who always speak of liberals rights and autonomy of service institutiions like AIMMS are uneasy and compelled with responsibility of supporting UPA policies even when they seem to infringe the platform of Liberal Democracy and rule of Law. This shows the stickiness of collaborating with the state-power.D.Goel
I am amazed and shocked hearing the news of Dr. Venugopal's dismissal.He operated me 19Yrs.back and I treat him as my GOD.I am sure thousands of people must have been benefitted by this Saint-Doctr.Why our politicians poke their nose in each and every issues? My desire is that he should be reinstated immediately
we should not expect from communists on this issue, this issue made congress in bad name and now communists stand to gain by not speaking on this issue as in the next elections communists may gain on the unpopularity of congress which is growing by leap and bounds due to various reasons like 1) Price rise 2)Unemployment 3)Reservations mismanagement 4)Corrupt ministers 5)Hot tempered Ministers to name a few
It appears that these politicians took oath not to protect the constitution of India, but to destroy it. Either it's removal of Dr. Venugopal, reservation policy, counting of muslim heads in the army or police, soft stand on terrorism etc. etc. are nothing but vote bank politics and this will certainly ruin the country. As such this is the time that our Hon'ble President should intervene and do something in the interest and welfare of the country. Because of many controversial decisions of the government today country is in total anarchy and hence in my opinion our Hon'ble President should dissolve the parliament and ban elections for 10 years and rule himself so that these politicians games can be put to an end.
