RAMADASS SHOULD MIND HIS BUSINESS
by Dr.K.RAGHU on Jul 06, 2006 09:27 PM  Permalink

It is well known that Anbumani and his father
run a casteist outfit in Tamilnadu that has no
respect for law or decency .They are known for
pulling down trees on highways and attacking
people who question them.It is a shame that these
goons run the Health Ministry as part of the
UPA govts coalition!

Sack Ramadoss
by Rakesh Ahuja on Jul 06, 2006 09:22 PM  Permalink

The Health minister is out of line by being in an office of profit, usurping the autonomy and conspiring against the director of the premier medical institution to remove him, for satisfaction of his personal ego. The news program showed him trying to examine a patient at AIIMS OPD, although Ramadoss has no faculty staff/clinical/academic appointment at AIIMS. This way, he committed another action which calls for a show-cause notice, as to why he engaged in clincal activity in an institution where he has no faculty appointment.
He should have been asked to cease and desist from his actions long time back by the prime minister, but the political game has been entagled, and he got a free hand to enforce his will over the esteemed Senior cardiac surgeon's deemed soft stand on the reservation issue. In fact, Dr. Venugopal is all for meritocracy, something which Ramadoss is out to destroy. In fact, Ramadoss should be sacked right away for conspiring to undermine the workings and dignity of AIIMS.

India's Primeir Medical Instituition Wounded
by Rajalaksshmi Krishna on Jul 06, 2006 09:20 PM  Permalink

I feel very sad for Dr. Venugopal. He is a renowned doctor in his field. Down with autocratic politicians like Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss, who incidentally entered through back door, i.e. Rajya Sabha, a first time MP and immediately a Cabinet Minister. Only in India such things happen. I wish Prime Minister will somehow pick up some courage and guidance from Smt. Sonia Gandhi to set things right before it becomes too late and too embarassing for the Govt.

When Sir Winston Churchil, War time prime minister of Britain came to know that the Govt of Prime Minister Attle is going to pass a bill in the Parliament for grant of Independence to India, he reported to have said -

"ARE YOU GOING TO HANDOVER THE COUNTRY TO THE RASCLES"

This comment he made 60 yers ago, now we realise its worth.

AIIMS has been wounded
by nagesh on Jul 06, 2006 09:02 PM  Permalink

The actions only shows the weakness of the poor P.M. Ministers under him take all sort of independent idiotic actions only to withdraw- the reservation bill, disinvestment bill- the P.M. could have been proactive and stopped the embarassment= Anbumani and all these politicians are selfish- I can quote Shakespeare- "Some have greatness thrust upon them" (for which they do not at all deserve). Nagesh.

Cool buddy.. every coin has 2 sides
by Shekar on Jul 06, 2006 08:59 PM  Permalink

Cool buddy every coin has got 2 sides.

Venu is great docton and served AIIM for 40 years. He is living god . I agree.

But other side of the coin is. He took AIIMs into hands and motivated medication students againest Govt and foreced them to do strick. And during strick he paid govt money to them as salaries. I do not know y he thinks that AIIMS is his organisation.

All are good but i am skeptical about above point.

You never think that you are the king of the organisation which is funded by govt.
