Do we really need ministers. They are a set of jokers. Already we have secrataries of each deparment who are very eminent. We need to have any american system of beuracracy. We do need ministers. It would save the tax payers money which can result in thousands of crores of rupess. Throw all the ministers out. We have the judiciary to monitor the activities of the executive. Further we need to bring transperency into the working of the government by making this available to the public over the internet or through other means. It is time that we create a Dream for this nation. A dream that is similar to the American dream or the Dream on the lines of MArtin Luther King to fight agist racist oppresion. A dream that would feel us proud of each other. A dream that would work towards a common cause than build a divise culture in people. I think the current president is the best person to do that.
This is an eye-opener, and the tip of iceberg if we are allowed QUOTA rule!!! We have seen government machinery fail at every step due to poor quality of personnel, and now this. Imagine with 50% quota, all will be ramdoss !!!
He has no business interfering in the functioning of AIIMS that too without any logical or valid reason.
Dr A Ramadoss is wholly responsible for the death of Mr. Sarvesh Kumar.
It would be great if some lawyer can file a case against Dr A Ramadoss holding him responsible for the death of Mr. Sarvesh Kumar.
Till we get politicians who have sense and act with logic, it is difficult for India to become one of the best countries in the world.
One of the ways to get such good politicans is to have a mechanism where we punish bad politicians whose acts effect so many people and have such significant consequences.
Very sad indeed. I'm really disappointed in our PM. Suddenly the administration looks like a house of cards, ready to collapse any time. I wish Dr. Ramadoss is put in his place, swiftly.
Its a pity that people like Ramdoss are allowed to criple a premier institution. And no one can do anything because no one wants the govt to loose crucial support. People like him will continue to use this to advance their petty cuase and inflated egos. Indias growth is going to be the looser when we continue to bring in more reservations and caste based policies where by we pit one Indian to fight with a fellow India. Its like the roman circus where the common man is the slvae and the ministers are the royalty watching the blood bath.
The politics behind Dr. Venugopal removal is certainly unfortunate but his removal was desired. It's true that the health minister is infringing the autonomy of AIIMS, but it is also true for Dr. Venugopal that he misused the spirit of autonmoy.
AIIMS is an autonomous Institution but is governed within the framework of Indian Constitution. The constitution has mandated reservations for the underpreveileged communities and AIIMS is not outside the purview of this mandate.
It's no secret that Dr. Venugopal has crossed all limits and supported anti-reservation stir at AIIMS. By doing so, not only he blatantly violated the service code but also disregarded the constitution.
You can't run a govt. institution as per your own whims and fancy, therefore, targeting the gun only towards Dr. Ramadoss will be highly unfair.
You don't need to be a social analyst to understand why Dr. Venugopal is getting unprecedented support from his medical fraternity who were at forefront during recent anti-reservation stir. I doubt any posting here is taking a neutral view of autonomy issue. They are only extending solidarity to Dr. Venugopal for his anti-reservation stance.
Things happened are according to Law. If you have a company and if the senior employee of your company calls a press meet and talks nonsense about your company, will you tolerate? Similar way a Govt servent cannot do that against the Govt. So action was taken against him and dont blabber and mislead ppl.
Ambumani should return to TN to tend to his flock of sheep. he clearly does not belong in Delhi, playing ego games. One wonders how this creature got elected in the first place.
Congress party has earned for itself one more millstone around its neck and cannot do anything about it. It has itself to blame of course!
