Manoj, how stupid, idiotic, moronic..! Dr.Ramdoss is a not congress politician.
This is very embarrasing for the Indian Diaspora abroad. We get very warm reception whereever we go due to the perception that we have one of most logical, analytical and honest attitudes in the human race. People like these Ramadoss destroy that notion and are guilty on many counts. PM should realise that he would get more votes if elections were called due to his sacking imcompetent people and parties like PMK pulling the rug. Learn from BJP's defeat.
It was not mentioned by the author about the way administration of the AIIMS has been run. And it does not talk about the exodus of Doctors from AIIMS because of Dr. Venugopal. He does not even find it wrong that Mr. Venugopal instigated the strike when it was his duty to keep the AIIMS runing smoothely. I think its a crime enough for him to get sacked. He may have talent but the government has given enough respect to him for that. He is serving as director even after retirement age of 62. I think Mr. Ramdoss would have proved to be an inefficient minister had he not fired Mr. Venugopal. Nobody is above law or ethics not even talented Mr. Venugopal.
1. AIMS is created to serve the people & and all doctors are paid from the peoples tax money.
2. Please note that \"George washigton a hero who got freedom to America surrendered his power to congress after his victory. It means Leaders should be indispenable but disposable. Also Naploean or Alexandor etc...nobody did this.\" It means leaders for service to nation should only think of their service not their self interest.
3.So many affected and 1 person died due to the actions of AIMS. may be Goverment should given him chance to resign in return of his service.
I strongly believe an enquiry should be contacted and AIMS is responible to answer the affected Indian citizens who lost life or affected.

No one has bothered to justify on what grounds was Dr.Venugopal issued the sack orders. Mercifully, the High court has stayed the order, and will review the entire issue soon.
However, what matters most is why Mr. Ramadoss claim that Dr. Venugopal went to press with his version of (whatever it was)? Was it unpalatable to the minister, as truth is always unpalatable and if a person is politically powerful, the only way to nullify their acts is to go through media. So, the question is what was Mr. Ramadoss trying to do in AIIMS. I read somewhere that he was trying to appoint certain persons who were not selected by the AIIMS committee. Further, the anti-reservation stir also added its own masala as AIMMS doctors were also supportive of the strike.
I have a few questions:
Can anyone tell when did Dr. Ramadoss pass his medical exam, how many marks did he score, in how many attempts did he pass?
Did he ever practice? If not, why? Did anyone unfortunately succumb by being his patient?
What does Ramadoss want to do with AIIMS?
At times, he has shown he can be sensible - when he spoke against Cold drinks, and against smoking - consumptin and promotion by popular icons.
We should not forget that A.I.I.M.S., is service oriented, though is supposed to be a prestigious institution, if prestige is maintained! Any service oriented institution cannot under function or stop its function, especially in the field of health which is crucial involving the life and death of general public! This assumes higher significance due to the fact that the poor have the opportunity to have qualitative treatment! No eminent person of any repute can ever cause or be instrumental or incapable of arresting any type of disruption to such noble services to people at large! Even God will never spare such disruption to such important services of the nation! No eminent professional person can claim to be good administrator too as medicine in this case is entirely different from administration! Administration should be tight in such cases of indiscipline to nation! The Minister of health is fully responsible to nation for any malfunction or disruption under the jurisdiction of health! The director, whoever he may be, should be disciplined to the Minister of health! Let us not forget that such indiscipline is the root cause of todays large scale miseries!
Its really a shame on the PM of the biggest democracy of world. He is not even able to take a single action by himself. Why is he there?????????
First the reservation and now this AIIMs crisis......if it goes on like that..then i must say that we "INDIANS" are going into a ditch just because og these crazy politicians.
