AIIMS issue
by Vijayakumar on Jul 18, 2006 11:01 PM  Permalink

A very good article bringing out the real situation on the ground. I wonder what is Dr.Anbumani trying to do with this prestigious institution. I feel this is yet another manifestation of the country being run by a coalition goverment.

Justice party
by Vijaya kumar on Jul 11, 2006 08:37 PM  Permalink

During the struggle for independence, Justice Party was the British supporting agency-Essentially any other country would label them as traitors and would have executed them after the independence. In India, they not only enjoyed the British hospitality for their loyalty to them, these guys became the leaders of the Nation without any notion of patriotism and the sense of sacrifice.. Their loyalty is to their caste than to their country and would not like to change. So their feeling that they were discriminated for centuries, which does not hold water, fail to understand that every society through centuries has problems. Those can not be solved by creating more problems. They do not understand that reservations which create injustice and inequality and animosity. If these fellows have to be elected again and again to the office, British were right after all. We never deserved independence. Probably we proved it beyond any reasonable doubt.

AIIMS and DR. Venugopal's issue
by Srinivasan on Jul 10, 2006 12:31 PM  Permalink

Hi,

AIIMS is run by central government for the benefits of public. There are poor and downtrodden people to be served and there is no second thought on this. However the chief like Dr. Veneugopal misleading the junior doctors and colleague, he as the responsibility to do this social service without any outage.

Doctor's are using their profession and costing human life to show their protest, this is not acceptable and they are not deserved any more to call them as doctors.

The society expects Doctors as the great humanitarians but not as rebellions.

Srini.

Send Thamizh people to Sri Lanka
by param on Jul 09, 2006 11:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think soon when all these Thamiz people are less than 5% of population and lose all seats in the Parliament, the North Indians should enact a law which says Hindi is the official and only language. They will then have to leave India and I think only place they can go is Sri Lanka to be with their LTTE brothers. India should then close off the Palk straits and let Sri Lanka go to town on these folks without interference. That will then put these DMK dudes in place.

The root cause of this is the brahmin hatred philosophy of tamil nadu. Actually tamil bramins have contributed the most to India (considering the small population). When the brahmin hatred dies along with quota politics (which is driven by brahmin hatred), better leaders will emerge, not only in tamil nadu, but all over India.

Sir, are you saying that Brahmins should not be protected? If OBC person violates law, you will still support him? Are you saying that a Brahmin can be sacked without notice, just because the minister is an OBC? Please apply your mind and think logically - and please learn English!

To save people give quota
by Murugan on Jul 08, 2006 01:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dr.Anbumani doing is correct, because Dr.Venugopal create a problem in IIMS due to protest quota method. He may be a good doctor but he is not good leader. And more over I think he is a bramin so he wants to save his caste people by avoiding quota method but who will take care for other backward people. so there is no doubt that the method followed by union minister is correct and all backward people will support minister.

A super egoistic petty politician
by Swapan Kumar Paul on Jul 08, 2006 12:55 PM  Permalink

Dr. Venu is like a father in the AIIMS. I say father because he did his MBBS and MS and then became a faculty member and finally became the Director. It is the Govt who recognises his talent and gave Padma award. By giving this award , We the indians become proud owner of a heritage. He has spend his entire life for the humanity. Hence in true sense he is the father of the organisation. A father never kills his children. He always prey to the God that his child would surpass him one day and that would be his reward.
A petty politician Mr. Anbumani wants to blackmail the medical fraternity. A few days before we saw him crying for a solution in AIIMS and now he wants to show his fangs. This type of politician should be banned from doing politics. Well - politics does not have a father or mother . Hence whatever he is doing seems to be ok as long as we dont kick them out.

Mr Anbumani- still there is time- please go to Dr. Venu's house and beg to excuse you. Dr. Venu has a large heart as he is a Heart Super Specialist, would forgive you.

S.K.PAUL
