by Murki Suresh on Jul 05, 2006 04:47 PM  Permalink

This is a very very bad development.

This is the true color of present governament aimed at spoiling/defaming the famed institute.

IS THIS GOVERNAMENT HAPPY BY TREATING SENIOR DOCTORS LIKE THIS????????????

This governament is acting like agent of FOREIGN INSTITUTES and intentionally spoiling local institutes ????????

Will god save India from the present governament's spoiling policies ?????

Thanks

Dictators
by Siddhartha Kumar Rastogi on Jul 05, 2006 04:38 PM  Permalink

Are we living in a dictatorship where a qualified and renowned person, like Dr. Venugopal has to be thrown out of the office, just because he does not favor/apply the policy of caning and beating the democratic and peaceful protests against a government policy?
This whole congress-left government has proven to be a bunch of dictator type crooks and hooligans, who have a special interest in dimolishing everything good and desirable, and promoting everything that is in their interest and damages the country and society the maximum.
I am more worried about the scenario of making it a trend to sack good administrators and put the puppets in all the top institutions of education and excellence.

This is an incorrect step !!

Clearly the Govt is inviting more trouble rather than a truce. This is clearly a naive and knee-jerk reaction from Mr Ramdoss & his colleagues.

I Agree...

This reflects Ramadoss' political & natural imaturity and cheap egotistic nature...

He will have to justify, how many hours of the Govt. were wasted to follow-up on this matter by Ramadoss... and why was this such an important priority of the Govt. to get rid of Dr Venugopal... did the Govt. not have anything more important than vindictively chasing an honourable, tax-paying citizen of India... to mnetion the least in Dr VR's credentials...

A world of pain- Ramados
by Sagar Raghavan on Jul 05, 2006 04:24 PM  Permalink

Thank God,

The Issue is sorted out in a way, that only political parties can sort it out in. We have parlimentarians throwing chairs, shouting slogans, burning temples, Majids, buses, instigating violence, and making news by accepting bribes. But they are never dismissed. They are never charged, they bare their clothes on TV, shouting bad words. Hidden Cameras show them talking like the Mother India is aprostitues Den and it is at their dispossal. But they have the rights to do all kind of nonsense. This is because we have Eunches as Public, and ready to take any shit. We have the most patriotic movies, but Chakkas can\'t move anything in this country. In the Fanna issue we had a state showing scant respect to the Law,We have a state govt in Karnataka which has no respect for The NICE project inspite of the Law clearing it. We have a state govt in Kerala where strike is their birth right, and are allowed to do anything in that name. Laws can be turned in the Assembly and parliment by paasing ordinaces, and annexures and what not. A set of fools rule us, but we keep quite and what else can you expect, when the same fools are put in the parliament and assembly by fools like us.

Venugopal's Dismissal
by gautam on Jul 05, 2006 04:22 PM  Permalink

Bravo! Indian government! Bravo!

This invertebrate govt is taking us back in time, meting out injustice to the so called forward castes, and Dr. Venugopal's stance with the educated and sensible medicos has incurred this wrath today.

Do all to reserve, divide, and create chaos, instead of facilitating merit, uniting people, and bringing in harmony.

This is not a welcoming decision. Dr. Venugopal is not a joke! Just remember his services to the medical and Indian society.

More over us can replace Dr. Ramdas with some other as minister. But, can u restrain respect of such a great doctor Venugopal.

This is very unhappy.
