Dismissal of AIIMS Director
by AVR Krishna Rao on Jul 05, 2006 05:43 PM  Permalink

How a gentleman Prime Minister can support such foolish action by a person who does not deserve to be a minister. Or has he become a prisoner of such people in his cabinet. It is better for him to dissolve the Cabinet and seek fresh mandate instead of remaining a mute witness to such acts as throwing out of office an eminent doctor who is internatinally famous. Come Mr Primeminister do something to retrieve the damaged reputation of the Government you are heading.

Ramadoss
by Dr.Vijay on Jul 05, 2006 05:40 PM  Permalink

As a doctor Ramadoss could not excel that is why he chose Politics so that he could boss around the highly qualified doctors. He is suffering from a guilt complex as he came through the reserved category backdoor to become a doctor and he is taking a revenge on the intellectuals and better doctors than him by tarnishing the names of doctors like Dr.Venugopal and trying to bring in more reserved category ones to bully the intelligent ones.

People like him should not be involved in decision making process of his own qualification. He shoould be given a department of Irrigation and public sewer systems.

Autocratic govt.
by Ram on Jul 05, 2006 05:16 PM  Permalink

Ramdoss is going nuts. The ambushing of AIIMS director is against the spirit of the free democratic country. We cant expect much from a govt. consisting of minority appesars and reservationsists.

This is the most saddening thing which could happened to such a renowned surgeon who had spent his entire career of 48 years at AIIMS.

Finally politics has taken a toll on the premier institute.

Are we heading in the right direction or in India or we into vendetta politics.
