Mumbai rains!
by Ku lkarni A. on Jul 05, 2006 11:41 PM  Permalink

We Indians are very lazy & do not learn by mistakes nor from past hstorical blunders or natural calamities. For the last few days what Mumbaikars have experienced proves this beyond doubt.

Mumbai RAINS AND Mr. BMC
by Devang on Jul 05, 2006 10:59 PM  Permalink

I think BMC should be spanked badly for messing up once again. Enough is enough. MMRDA has also been consistent in provding us ridiculous roads. Roads just melt away in the rains i guess its a new technology from MMRDA...Good WORK guys We are proud of you and your consistency. KEEP IT UP..

Mumbaikar will definately fight with Monsoon Trouble
by MANNU on Jul 05, 2006 08:48 PM  Permalink

Hi to All,
It is again critical condition for all the Mumbaikar, which makes us reminder of 26th July 2005. And these BMC has not done anything to help us, even though they had got so many galies from Mumbaikar in last monsoon. They should have shame of themself.. Where are that 100 crores santion for Mumbai and suburbs. Everyone should ask this question, So that next money should not go in BMC Babu's pocket..
I used to remember two line which has always helped me, when I am in any trouble.. And you will find it helpful too in difficult condition.
Never say "Hai God, I have Big Problem, Please help me....." But say "Hai Problem! I have Big God to help me..."

Take Care, And Help the person beside you, any possible way you can...

Friend For All

Heavy Rains vs System
by Hasin Vaid on Jul 05, 2006 05:40 PM  Permalink

Dear All,
Stop blaming the system / goverment for not providing or being ready for this situation. Mumbai drainage is designed for a specific amount of water collection per day. If the heaven pours heavily what will the system / goverment do???
Feel lucky that you have a congress NCP goverment as still there is no havoc, but if the other party would be ruling it would had been disaster as out of the total 49 years of independence congress looted us for 44 years but the other party who got the chance for 5 years looted the same amount within this short span of time. So gys, stop balming goverment instead appreciate the efforts of Vilasrao Deshmukh and his team and above all pray for the people who are suffering.

RE: Heavy rains lash Mumbai
by Hitesh on Jul 05, 2006 05:08 PM  Permalink

The Chief Minsiter of our state had some time ago made an announcement to convert Mumbai into Shanghai
Well looking at the pathetic condition of the city after the rains i think the plan is to wipe out the city completely and then construct it all our again.
Great planning CM.
