Most of the volunteers are from Sri Lanka. I am wondering why a local Indian NGO not taking enough support measures (if what is stated in the article is true). Our country is a sacred place and only place in the world where a foreigner is treated with great respect and dignity. When one of our own ethinic group is seeking refuge in our land - we should strive to give them the necessary help. Many will argue that we have our own problems - but that is our culture. To be a great host without any expectations!!

Venkat, who are you expecting from man?? Are you blind?? Cant you see how dumb we have become to adopt foreign culture without even knowing fully what that culture is about?? Cant you see that we are following more and more Hollywood films and that the hollywood culture is getting penetrated. And talking about NGO's who has the time mate?? If they spend their time for these people, when will they fill their own pockets?? Have you ever thought on these things. These guys are more mature than You and Me. We are dumb to think all this. These people are mature, educated and reputed. They know better. They are right. Culture doesnt matter, corruption doesnt matter, laws are a joke. I am proud to say that the Srilankans are intelligent to be self sufficient. Please dont send these stupid NGO or govt organisations there, they will end up screwing the poor harassed and create more problems in the name of law and order and suck blood of the already distressed people. Atleast they are finding peace at the moment. Just be thankful that these people are not harassing the immigrants unnecessarily. Come on man, its time we get mature.
