I've lived in the N.E There are no terrorist movements in Mizoram & Meghalaya, the states with the highest no. of Xians.The main extremist outfits are in Assam Manipur &Tripura where there arevery few Xians.These outfits are all run by Hindus.So we have Xian C.M's in Nagaland, mizoram and Meghalaya.The population of these states are almost entirely Xian so whichever party comes to power,Congress, BJP,or any local party,the C.M would have to be Xian. What hallucianations! I come fro T'nadu. Kindly name the entire villages that were converted after the tsunami. Madam Jayalalitha would love to know the source of your info. Much as I agree with you in your analysis, it is still an irony of sorts that we donot have a credible and bold enough leader who can fearlessly raise legitimate issues conserning Hindus without being ridiculed as communal. Seems u haven't embodied the age-old Indian spirit of assimilating each and every culture and person within itself and not seeing any differences. How the hell does it matter if a Sikh is running the country and an Italian is the real source of power? As long as they are performing competently, no one should raise a finger on them. For the past numerous years, we've had Indians at the top and look what they have done to this country. Instead of realizing Gandhiji's dream, they have made it a haven for corruption. Also, don't forget that the previous government kicked out by the very ppl of India was so called "Hinduistic" and "Nationalistic" to the core. I'm sure if an Indian were to rise to a high administrative post in another country, we would all rejoice and be proud. But when it comes to extending the same feeling towards other country's citizens in India, you will shrink back. And waht is this crap about Christianity and Islam? India, since independence, holds the second largest muclim population in world. This never seemed to have troubled you earlier. Yes, in India the hindus are second-class citizens. Any Hindu who travels abroad knows that they are treated like dirt by *every* other people. And why should they not? If hindus are treated like dirt in India itself, why should others treat them any better? If only more hindus stood up to be counted, and demand their fair rights.
Treat the minorities in India the same way the enlightened West treats the minorities in their countries. After all, these psecular/non-hindus hold the western countries as model countries, dont they? What is it britain is asking its immigrant population to do? That they should be more like briish? Dr. Singh is PM because of his qualifications, clean image, contribution to the country in various ways. Apart from that he seems to be the only person from the congress who is capable and can carry forward the country in a positive manner. 4. For hindus & other people of India, they are such a broad minded people, they don't mind being governed (not ruled) by these able guys.
Mr.Gautier may have lived here for 30 years, what a pity that he could not understand what India is all about.
Hindu/Muslim/Christianism is all part of India. What I understand is they we all have the beiefs and faiths but we all are Indians first. If any of us go beyond this belief, he is bound to suffer anyhow and shall make India suffer.
Conversions/counter conversion are not good sign for the country, providing better amenities in life shall eventually scrap this. Waiting to see the positive turnaround.
