Shyam Saran's response was absolutely right. That is the response of India. What was "out of conteext" is for him to explain to the world now. Enough damage has been done with this widely-covered interview. The buck should stop here.
The US Ambassador to India has done immense harm to the emerging Indo American ties by his indiscrete comments.India has done well to express its strong reaction to his statements.his subsequent comments that he had been quoted out of context is nothing but the usual face-saving statements who ae caught with their foot in the mouth It is not clear in what way the N-deal with USA is going to benefit us.Is it so important that we have to listen to all the crap that the US Administration officials have been saying.One gets the feeling that Indian Govt has goofed up the foreign policy in this matter and had allowed themselves to fall in the US trap.
