Yes definetely Rahul is a great indian icon and deserves the top position in the party. He is young and dynamic and posseses a positive attitude. His innocent look adds further to his personality. He must be given a proper portfolio and gradually along with time may be handed over party leadership.
I think Rahul Gandhi will be a perfect leader. He can fulfill all the requirement of the nation. As earlier Gandhi family is not greedy and ready to give even their life for India. We are awaiting for his leadership and want to see him as Prime Minister of India.

is there any other better or best choice for the congress party other than nehru family?it is a really shameful to the congress party itself going for gandi - tag.
YES. I am definitely fed up of sychophancy in Congress. The site of 90 year old Sitaram Kesari touching the feet of 20 year old Priyanka was so bad and disgusting that I vouched NOT TO SUPPORT CONGRESS EVER IN MY LIFE.
Is Sharad Pawar not better than untested Rahul? Has Sonia performed better than Narasimharao? Was not Madhavrao Scindia better than the most of the Gandhis?
Then why Congresswalas so obsessed with handing over rhe country on platter, to Gandhi Family? Only because Gandhi family is the cement that keeps Congresswalas together. Only this name brings them power of chair....
Anyway, considering Quatrocchi affair, I think day is not far pieces on India wil be sold to Italy, Columbia, Spain and what not.....
Certainly not. The biggest liability for the party is the family. The immediate necessity of the party is to bring to the fore another big leader who represents the congress tradition and who helps to shed the sycophency. Then only one can dream about the revival of the party.
The characterless Congress "leaders" has not changed their character since the inception of congress. Their sycophancy is legendery. They should understand that their shameless boot-licking of the Gandhi-family is so much that it is discomforting even that family members. No wonder that the Congress is no longer the main party nowadays - and it needs help from even its arch-rival, the Communists, to stay in the Government.
The boot-licking nature of the Congress leaders, is putting even Rahul into an embarrassing situation - but nobody seem to watch that. No wonder congress has lost its relevance in the current Indian politics and it will continue to do so.
Yes, Rahul Gandhi is the answer..but he must lead the entire young congress leaders along with him.
Congress party has many young, well educated leaders in Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sachin Pilot, Milind Deora, Naveen Jindal, Priya Dutt, jitin Prasada etc.
All these leaders have the charisma and all these leaders should form the Gennext leadership of India.

The names you have counted are sons and daughters of senior congress leaders. They are in the position because of their fathers but not because of their own leadership qualities. Please denounce upbringing of these people and ask them to start internal elections in each political party and let better ones come up instead of those who has backing powerful people.
Out future generations should be proud enough to say they are from largest democracy. This is some have giveing us same family as option.I am really unhappy with this option.
