The code of slavery is now embedded deep inside the DNA of a breed of people who after independence got the right to be called as Indians. For them the question and answer both lies in slavery. It surfaces in various form during different era from Mughal Dynasty to British Empire to the now so called Republic of India.
RAHUL (Responsible, Accomplished, Honest, Upcoming, Leader) this is what large hoardings read on the way to the venue of the congress plenary sessions. How shameful!!! Congress is a party where all the its members are boot lickers of the so called 'Gandhi Family' whether it be senior leaders or so called young upcoming leaders. I would personally rate Jyotiraditya Scindia a better younger leader who is suited to lead the party. He has the charm and the necessary education and understanding of broader economic issues facing the country. But poor guy is not from the 'Great' Gandhi family and so he does not stand a chance. Rahul with all his childish rantings like; 'I could have been a PM at 25 if I wanted' is always the preferred leader of congress. The congress vote base has eroded over the last 20 years and in some states totally wiped out. All but under the leadership of the the members of the so called 'Gandhi family' but it boot licking leaders still hang on to them. How very shameful the party which has boasted leaders like Sardar vallabhai patel, Maulana azad other greats could not throw up one genuine leader who could fire up the imagination of the masses and captivate them.
well, are u sure he is the answer, can't he be a regular indian speaking his voice.look at the people working for the party, when sonia won the elections people were takin swords in their hands trying to drive people away and climbing trees not to get down and so many hilarious things when sonia said no to "prime ministership" and this is the image the congress has put in front of the world.you who had put this article in the rediff ,know yourself what our country needs.i believe is " clear the mess, make it decent and then get things done".we as indians want to potray a image of our country, what are we doing towards it.If rahul believes he can do that, let him start.the question is "how far will he go?how far can he go?how far will the peopleie, other politicians let him go?and how far will the terrorists let him go?".
Middle East vrs India: rahul gandhi

I went to visit some middle east countries. There I see the hoardings of these dictators/monarchists. Every Institution was named after these dictators. The airports, the hospitals, and other important institutions.
When I came back to USA, I found the media harping on the issue, how everything was named after Saddam in Iraq.
Then I realized, that we in India have been doing the same for last 50 years. Everything from universitites, hospitals, roads, colleges, shopping markets, etc. have been named after 3 people. Nehru,Indira and Rajiv. We have systematically perpetuated monarchy albeit in a democratic manner. I am sure Rahul will become the next PM. But, is there no better alternative to the person who could not graduate from Stephens/Harvard. How much do we know of him (or about Sonia)? What are his moral values? What kind of intellectual abiliity he has shown by giving a nice speach? We as a nation know more about Princess Diana as compared to Rahul Gandhi/Sonia Gandhi.
Well it does not matter. He is nice looking, and is the scion of Nehru family (which they call as Gandhi family). I am despaired.

This is not a poll for the most popular movie/tv star.
Kids today seem to have no idea of reality. Looks and lavish living (at the expense of millions of Indians slogging to survive) do not assure honest and good governance. Only fools make the same mistake twice. Indians youth appears suicidal - the same mistake over and over and over again.
Every country needs a leader who has a great mass & cadre acceptance. Rahul fits this requirement nicely. It is better utilise this unique advantage than wasting it. Rahul in my eyes look more promising as a leader who can bring more laurels to this great nation. But, then I am not suggesting a dictatorial leadership or 'God' like stature. He needs to strongly embrace democracy within and outside his party.
How can you expect a inexperienced chap to be able to handle the 2nd largest country? Is it just because that he is Rajiv Gandhi's Son? I guess if Rajiv was alive also it would have been difficult for the congress to come to power next time. How can his son regain congress? Just by the name of the tree, you should not sell the fruits. All fruits are not good. This is a basic sympathy vote. If they(congress) are cashing on the sympathy, how can one expect their leader to handle such a big nation. I dunno why all these congress men (starting from PM to any state CM) are behing that Italian lady. Is she the supreme power in congress? There are very good leaders in the Party. Why all are ignored?
He isn,t the answer...Rahul Gandhi is too dumb to represent India at any level or for that matter even represent his own constituency...its only due to dynatic politics that he is in power and everyone knows he and his mother are traitors trying to sell India and its pride abroad..sensible indian arise and awake and smell the coffee...
