congress is no answer for the problems of India . Rather it is the creator of these problems . congress party should be broken down and its leaders should own the responsibility for the mess that India is in and take sanyas from the politics for the rest of their life.
No, why cant we look outside the box. We need professionalism in all levels of our society to move further. Just relying on "Gandhi" name is not sufficient. We need to look beyond that thing. Gandhi has enjoyed their share of RAJ after the independence India. By having another Gandhi on board will reflect India is still a feudal state where People like to be governed by the KINGS and Queens. Probably they love it and Gandhi's are enchasing it and reflecting to others as saying that they have sacrificed a lot for the country. Yes!!! If u is king you have to do it and pay the price for that. Remember Mogul did it. History repeats we may end up having a dynasty rule in India. That's what the masses wants may not be intellectuals!!!
It is the shame on congress people who have no ther option to keep them front and capture the power and ruin the conuntry. When gandhi family away from politics for some time whole dynamics of India and economy have changed. What ever developments taken place it is only during that time when that family away from politics.
No Rahul is not the true solution since his very young. Moreover if he will come into power, then his life will be in danger. Yes Rahul Gandhi is the solution for the development of the country. In 1983 India won the world Cup due to Gandhi's prime minister, so Gandhi is must if India wants to win the 2007 world Cup.
If even after so many decades we are HUNG UP UPON THE NEHRU-GANDHI brand name then we need to look within ourselves perhaps. Is your Genetic pool enough for one to be the PM of a nation like ours ? Let us not forget that many of the maladies prevalent today are the BrainWaves suffered by earlier members of the same GenePool. WAKE UP PEOPLE ... Vote with your Head NOT YOUR heart !!

This cud b another gimmick by Sonia. First she projected the name of Priyanka as a leader. Just when congresswallas were bracing themselves for Priyanka, she very cleverly sidelined Priyanka, denied herself the PM chair and became the center of power in congress, just like her mother-in-law. I have long believed that this clan has done more damage to India than good, right from the day of Nehru sulking at the name of Patel being proposed as PM of independent India.
Rahul Gandhi is a mature person who, like his father, has calibre of charting a vision for India in 21st century.
Call it sycophancy or whatever, but there is no denial that Rahul is a gentleman with high etiquettes, whereas opposition leaders - even the senior most ones - have often degraded themselves with loose talks. We have seen enough of them and they have nothing new to bring on the table except loud noises of belittling others and spreading hate. In this dirt ridden landscape, Rahul surely brings a fresh hope.
Only one thing which baffles me is whether Priyanka- who resembles closely to her grandmother, Indira Gandhi- also has some substance or only looks to charm. The Gandhi family is avoiding bringing her on the stage. May be she is even better than Rahul. But then, may be not.I just hope there is no 'gender discrimination' issue here......
Look at the alternatives - Advani, Rajnath, 'Hanuman' Venkaiyah, Pramod Mahajan... Mulayam, Amar Singh, Lalu yadav, George Fernandes.. Harkishan Singh Surjeet, Buddhadeb... Jaylalita, Devegowda..Narendra modi - uma bharti- Bal thakery- Naidoo-Jaitley ...aha.. gimme a break...

Jaylalita, Devegowda..Narendra modi - uma bharti- Bal thakery- Naidoo-Jaitley. Just remember, they are all Indians and whatever they do will be in India: all their good and bad deeds. We do not know history how history unfurls and how Italian, Colombian, Spanish and American colonial net entangle us to slavery again. We should be vigilant.
