Will the Cong. Recover
by N.K. Suri on Jan 19, 2006 04:18 PM  Permalink

Perhaps this question would have been easy to answer in positive had the Congress Party(a partner in the UPA Government at the Centre)been enjoying good reputation). Since beginning of their tenure, they have been playing all sorts of nasty politics in various States like Goa, Jharkand, Bihar - coupled with their handling rather mishandling defreezing of Q's bank accounts etc. it seems they have lost credibility and public sympathy, and it seems imperative that their Govt. would fall. Even the very formation of their Govt. in Karnatka was not justified completely because the single largest party was ignored which sent bad signals down the line. Moreover, Dharam has made a mess of every thing. By coming into power of the HDK and BJP, it will be a governance by the majority.

It is all great peoples game. What can we say as ordinary thing in the society.

If they are removed they know how to come back.

Voters list, caste politics, Mafia, Land Developers are always there for all the parties to help them in crisis - it does not depend on Educated class at all.

Yes,

Congress will recover in karnataka since before the coalition govt came to existence it was the cong people who were ruling karnataka very well as the chief minister was Mr.S.M.Krishna.

So cong will survive and sustain in karnataka

karnataka Govt
by Pavan Sanganal on Jan 19, 2006 03:00 PM  Permalink

Dharam Singh has to step down before Governor sacks his Govt...

Karnataka People should teach Devegowda a lesson next time... He is taking Karnataka voters for granted..

I am sure even the upcoming BJP-Kumarswamy coalation can't give a good Govt with Development as a Mantra...

I think people may choose congress in a Big way next time, if Kumarswamy-BJP Team fails to execute properly....

At this point of time, we can not say about Congress future.. But sure that Devegowda and Sons will face a BIG setback in coming days...

Regards

Pavan Sanganal

congress must adopt wait and watch policy .
by somen mukherji on Jan 19, 2006 02:38 PM  Permalink

congress must take a wait & watch policy,as the JDS and BJP are totally opposite to each other in terms of secularism,JDS has its own identity & by no mean they would like to loose it,probably its a temporary arrangement for them also to creat a pressure situation in the national politics,as because in the national politics;its very difficult for the regeonal parties like JDS to have proper presence & for past some time mr.devegowda has almost been sidelined. probably its a ploy by him; just to shake up congress and make his very presence felt.its not a permanent solution for him & somnetime in the future he will have to tie up with the congress.present move also signifies another forsighted move as to promote his son to the central leadership without much or any trouble within the party;if mr.kumarswami can lead the MLA brigade & tie up with the BJP to successfully become the CM of the state than it will be a grand success for mr.gowda.but sooner or later or maybe before or after next state election we'll find him hand in glove with congress.

couse JDS identity will only survive in the state if congress supports them but not BJP.the biggest gain for congress is mr. sitaramaiahy.
