Cong will recover
by venkatesh on Jan 20, 2006 02:09 AM  Permalink

Cong. has all the chance at this juncture to win a complete majority in the event of a by-elections. BJP has lost its image with its fluctuating talks (once for JDS, Once against) and also lacks a strong leader. JDS is more of family business than real politics.

SM Krishna would need to come back to State politics.

Karnataka govt fall !!
by vidya on Jan 19, 2006 11:44 PM  Permalink

Its for good that karnataka govt has fallen..This govt was of no use..But I can't think & believe is Kumaranna's act without Dad's assistance !! again a politics here..What could be the move of the dad-son duo here ?? This is going to be the interesting phase of kartnataka politics. It has to be agreed that kumar is a good strategist. He ha gone a step ahead of his father. I'm quiet sure that Kumar will do better to karnataka ,kannada & its people than dharam singh. He is not a high profile type of person & should start working for whole karnataka & just not bengaluru. Kannada speaking ppl should be provided more job oppurtunities.. sarojini mahishi report has to be implemented. Its also quiet interesting to know the strategies of BJP.

Hope everything goes fine..
Jai karnataka

karnataka govt.
by abhi on Jan 19, 2006 11:24 PM  Permalink

karnataka politicians are trying to play around with the people of k'taka and this wont be tolerated too long. Everyone is getting hurt by these fools fighting for power, the state is missing out on revenue to other states which have stable govt. and Mr. Deve Gowda is trying to create a sympathy wave by acting as though he had been betrayed by his own son. Mark my words this coalition with BJP will be a total failure, everyone in this upcomming govt will make their money and get out before they hit the road fir elections, Mr. Gowda has played all his cards and is left with none..... that is what i feel. As far as the Congress goes.... i would like to see the old government come back to power and take control of the state..... Mr. Krishna's government is capable of getting foreign investors to the state and have a cabinet of ministers that know what they are doing. The Karnataka Congress will prevail and its time for these politicians to get their act together and work for the benefit of the state and its people..... we as the people of karnataka dont want to loose the status we have world wide because of a few jokers who think they ought decide our future!

imposible ????
by Tara on Jan 19, 2006 10:31 PM  Permalink

i dont think so the congress will ever recover from
this blast....by the JD-s.

Dharam singh will never ever be a CM again.

looking at the prospects since two years....nothing
is conspicious....no special fulfillments so far.

JD-s will form the government....with
kumaraswamy as the new CM.

But, in the next election JD-s will never come
up....thats for sure....and BJP will lose its charm.

on the Bihar way !!!
by Teerth on Jan 19, 2006 09:35 PM  Permalink

The politicians of karnataka are very soon going to create another Bihar of Karnataka. The days dont seem far when we find ouselves becoming another Bihar.
Dharam Singh always knew that sword was hanging on his head. And same will be the case with the forthcoming CMs in the current Scenario. And in this situation they ll not think of the development of the state but their own prosperity.

by aditya on Jan 19, 2006 09:29 PM  Permalink

Congress in Karnataka won't stay for too long now .they( congress) have done a terrible mistake by removing S.M. Krishna from the CM's post and keep Dharm Singh in his place . u can see the damage he has done and now it seems possible that BJP will come in power.

Ineffecient Karnataka Congress
by J.M.Nayak on Jan 19, 2006 07:55 PM  Permalink

It is high time that congress in Karnataka does not recover. We the people of Karnataka are being fooled by these politicians who are enjoying without working for the people but only satisfying themselves.
Congress played into the hands of Devegowda who has lost his vision.
Congress would have been in a better position with Mr.S.M.Krishna.
