cong have already burnt their finger in Bihar & jarkant, if they do the same thing in karnataka, they will be routed out in the next election, it right time for CM to resign and invite BJP & JD(S) to form the Govt. first let them solve their internal fighting (i hope not possible) and try to face the election.
Well, all said and done about the numbers, what really matters after the government is formed is will the new government sustain for the rest of the period till elections in 2009? If persisting is one issue the quality of governance a herculean task for the new regime. The BJP will really have to work their way out to the next elections and with the petty fights they take up, INCUMBENCY will surely be factor of decision. Failing which the BJP will never get back as strong in Karnataka as they could in '04 elections. The new alliance should also take up the onus of avoiding early elections and if things dont work out, the alliance will be reprimanded for premature polls. With all the party management techniques and minds like Venkaih Naidu and Pramod Mahajan, the alliance may pull up a good show, the proposals of development of infrastructure and development of secondary cities will be affected a lot. Just not Bangalore is crying out for infrastructure, but also the secondary cities like Mysore, Hubli and Mangalore should attract investments if the state has achieve growth in hampered businesses.
Very doubtful. Coalition exercise under Dharam Singh was very inefficient. All developmental activities were totally ignored. Nothing moved. Layman like me shall never shed a tear for the fall of the Govt. People expected a log and only promises came throughout. When principles are thrown to the wind, when convictions are forgotten this is bound to happen. We are yet to see the worse in the coming days with another group of strange bed fellows.
Congress and JD(S) led government loses majority,so they should vacate the office and go home without showing majority on 26th of this month.but the best thing is secular party like JD(S) is joing hands with BJP is unfortunate.
In the present scenario, its very much obvious that the congress is losing its ground in Karnataka. The Dharam Singh Government has not shown any developments in the recent past. This makes the congress foundation in the state very shaky. In addition to that, the rift between the Father and the Son (Dewe Gowda and Kumaraswamy)has really damaged the image of both the parties. Recovering from the present crisis situation for the congress party will be an uphill task. Looking at the no of MLAs the party has presently, it doesnt seem to regain its lost image and the prestige in the stage. Inspite of all these factors, whether the congress will come back needs to be seen.
I strongly believe that whatever happened is the best thing that can happen. To my knowledge I have not seen any worst CM than Dharam Singth from past 25 years. He virtually broght Bangalore from international city to a city of big mess and its infrastructure has gone to dogs now. Bangalore's state cannot go worse than this. Let us hope at least new govt can do better work. It doesn't matter even the new CM is corrupt until he does little bit of good work.
Mr Kumarawamy who is a MLA because of Deve Gowda is proposed for cheif minister. Yediuruappa (with rich experience) is proposed as his DEPUTY. Funny are the ways of politician. Tragic days are ahead for Karnataka
Managing coalition does not mean at the cost of the common man. You have to do what is right and not what some eccentric person wants. Had Dharam Singh done that he would have been a sure winner in snap polls. Now he has lost the people and also the person whom he was trying to please. He and his party thoroughly deserve to be out of the job for not having a spine of their own
Let me start with asking Dharam Singh what has he done to Karnataka that we need to pray for him to stay back, he unfortunately has not been able to develop his own constituency let alone the state, he is has a lot oflust for power, he is also in the same league as HDK and BSY, he had one and only chance to rule the state, he did a miserable job, if for everything High Command has to take a decision , then we are happy with President's rule in the state. He has messed up Bangalore, the least we can say, who is trying to fool by saying everything is fine. Take the Airport, he has not done anything than asking NRN Murth to resign, Bangalore Roads he as CM is helpless, then think of the common man, NICE, he misrepresented to the courts to achieve the goal of staying in power. I weep for my state, Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam, please provide President's rule, we are more than happy to have a state with politicians, as they have made loads of money but zero development.
