'Future is always uncertain'
by Anand on Jan 19, 2006 11:42 AM  Permalink

Congress has to learn a good lesson from this. Do good work and gain power and not by trusting others and dancing on their tune. I dont think there is a good future for JD(S) and BJP coalition also since there is no good leader among them. I wish my state does lot of progress despite of this political instability. Whichever party gets power, let it concentrate on development than cheap politics. We common people of karnataka wish our state improves a lot. Hope our politicians realise their responsibilities also the common people.

Thanx.

Yes, Politics always render anxiety, Karnataka often. According to 'beloved' Leaders' toungue, Justifications on the ever changing alliance remain 'right'. However, Karnataka voters always exercising their franchise wisely and keep such leaders in abeyance during subsequent election. In Karnataka, ofcourse, congress lacking good Policy now. Though there are hardships, since key chair is with Congress, they could do lot, but unfortunarely the development adversed during the tenor of existing administration. Congress can once again recall Mr. SMK to the key post, it may help congress workers to recover their enthusiasm, if so, Congress might get a chance to form stable governement without threat from any coaliation partners.

the congress, hasnt learnt its lessons. if they had only worked thier way up, they would have won the faith of people by now. somehow politicians are only interested in politics, never about development.

Cong and Karnataka
by alok on Jan 19, 2006 11:28 AM  Permalink

The Chief minister and the congress, to say the least have been very ordinary in the last 18 months. Bad governance, lack of will to make a difference and subverting an issue through politics has been their strategy. What has happened is no surprise..The JD is in a bargaining power and i'm afraid, the congress will have to wait for the next election and work very hard. They never had the mandate and they frittered an opportunity through an alliance. This is very typical in case of a fractured mandate and the state, people and progress suffers substantially.

No need for Congress to recover.
by Rajeswararao on Jan 19, 2006 11:23 AM  Permalink

There is no need to lament on the loss of power by Congress. Actually it is good riddance. Also Karnataka will be good without the senior Deve Gowda. Good riddance for both.

Karnataka Govt in peril
by Sudhakar Shanbhag on Jan 19, 2006 11:16 AM  Permalink

Dharam Singh desrves to be kicked out. In democracy, there is no place for non-performing govt.

It does not mean that Kumarswamy is better than Dharam Singh. But deserves a chance. There is nothing to loose, because the administartion, policies, infrastructure etc are at lowest level as it is. It can not go below.
